Super clean windows. I thought one was a door and plowed into it full steam ahead. I’m both embarrassed and impressed.
The college generally speaking is okay, however, they have a serious ethics issue. I have a medical condition that I was told I could get an accommodation for so I could function in class, but I was told I had to provide them with medical proof of my condition basically because they could not tell I had a condition by looking at me as if I was lying about having a condition just so they would make class easier for me. The counselor at the college I spoke with literally told me I appeared fine to her as if that means I don't have a condition just because she cannot tell by looking at me. If I had a medical condition that was more obvious by looking at me, I doubt I would have been forced to provide my personal medical records as proof. Even my doctors were skeptical about the college forcing me to disclose personal medical information to receive an accommodation for a serious medical condition. I was not able to provide the college with a doctor's note, so they REFUSED to accommodate my medical condition. This is SO wrong.
My kids are going to Mat Su College attending the secondary school. They enjoy it so much more than standard high school which I’m not impressed with and they are getting excited about the prospects of college starting college courses next semester. It’s so nice to have this option and really so much better than H.S B.S our society insists on putting our kids through. Work instead of a bunch of added fluff! Amazing!
Not being open on Sunday is not helpful to the full time working students of our community. *In reply to the comment. Being open on Sunday would help. Thanks.*
Great college especially if you need to work while getting your degree. professors are understanding if you talk to them, and will work with you as much as possible
