Had the opportunity to drive for their Football team while they were in Montgomery,Al.What a great group. From their students to their coaching staff. Very professional, polite, and overall great group to work with . This University should be very proud of the professionalism that they all brought to Alabama. Hope to work with them again .
I take 2 of my dogs to specialty care at the UCD Vet Med Teaching Hospital. Their care has been excellent. Today I used the outpatient pharmacy services. I needed the meds right away and picked them up within 48hrs. Sometimes the traffic is horrendous, but that's not the school's fault. They are providing services I cannot get anywhere else locally.
I was only here for one year for undergrad, but I had a good time nonetheless. I loved that this school was a middle ground between a studious and party school. It wasn’t boring nor was it too crazy. Perfect for those, who want to get a top quality education, but occasionally want to go out and have fun.
The classes we had were fun, educational and very informative. Hopefully I’ll take more as the program I’m interested in offers quite a lot. Highly recommend!
I had a fine needle biopsy at UCDavis. All around, it was a horrible experience. The bedside manner of the clinicians left a lot to be desired (speaking about me as if I wasn't there and explaining to the students about what the parts were in the ultrasound before they poked me and not to "go too far or miss" as that could cause trouble if they hit my esophagus. Not comforting when someone is about to stick a needle in your neck. I understand it's a learning hospital but discussing what could go wrong in front of me seemed inappropriate). It was extremely painful...and when results came back they were inconclusive because they'd hit a blood vessel so I had to have another, second biopsy. The first was around $3000 and then they expected me to pay for a second. In addition, I had major swelling and bruising. I had a lemon sized curve of bruising and swelling sticking out of my neck for almost 2 weeks. For my second biopsy I went to Modesto Radiology. It was fast and painless. There was no bruising or swelling. I honestly thought they were still inserting the numbing needles when he told me it was over. What a difference from my experience at UcDavis! If I remember correctly it cost around $300 vs $3000 FOR THE SAME THING!! When I complained to UCDavis about the cost difference and being expected to pay for something they goofed up they said the price difference was because UcDavis is considered an "emergency clinic." I didnt go into the er and it had been scheduled. Between the beside manner, goofing up the biopsy, charging $3000 vs $300 I would not recommend them. This is my second review because NOW 19 MONTHS AFTER my procedure I just got another bill from UCDavis that I owe another amount, that they had never billed me before. Very unprofessional.
The university provides a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all students.
I will be by the campus to take- I mean "free speech" some of the colleges items away from them and since "no medical was called" it should be not only allowed but approved by this college! Everybody please feel free to practice "free speech" just like UC Davis publicly approves of at their campus! Let's see how many people we can get to practice "free speech" with the colleges personal property, since we know they publicly approve it happening to others personal property.
So much more politics than education at this point. Not even safe to walk through parts of campus unless you're wearing grey or black, since a red shirt might indicate you voted in a way another student disagrees with (but maybe you just like Coca-Cola? lol). Anyway, on topic: the school needs to get back to fact based middle of the road schooling and leave poli-tricks to social media and off campus bars.
Provided water for the Davis Turkey Trot! It was such a wonderful day filled with runs for all ages and even furry pets. So glad that we got to share clean oollee water to all the participants! Thank you UC Davis !
The special education here seemed promising after I was accepted. That was a huge lie and a huge mistake on my end! Don't make the same mistake I made! Even their website is a scam. I don't like the special education program here for a lot of reasons. The way they schedule your classes and your jobs is way too much for me and some other people. This is very unacceptable for people (including myself) who care about their mental and physical health. They seem to hate me here and dump everything on me that I can't handle. They thought I could handle my classes, my jobs, and meet with my mentors, but I can't take it anymore! This is super ridiculous! They make everything mandatory (except for weekend activities) for no apparent reason. What the heck? Why is everything they throw at you have to be mandatory? This is not even necessary to make every single event to be mandatory. Also they use CSC Service Works for laundry for no good reason. This company sucks for laundry because their machines keep on getting maintenance. Their app also sucks because of the amount glitches on there. Why pay more money for this fraudulent company when you are already paying a lot for the tuition? The directors of the program seem way too blind that certain scholars are not even fit for this special education program. They claim that it's a lie when it is indeed a fact! Some of the scholars drag you into stupid drama that they made for no reason. They seem don't listen to you and they don't care about you (and they never will). They don't really do anything about the drama after I told them about it or give me any updates at all! It is so terrible! Also this campus is extremely dirty and filthy because people (including myself) have seen rats and/or cockroaches crawling all around campus. The students here are very lazy at throwing their trash away, hence the dirty campus and the amount of rats and cockroaches here. The only people that actually care for you is the mentors, the teachers, and your friends that you made here. NO ONE ELSE IN THIS PROGRAM CARES FOR YOU! In summary this program here is very toxic because of the dumb drama and they respect your wishes at all. So far or at the rate it is going, this special needs program is really bad. It needs a ton of improvements to make it better and may be even functional for the future students! I just hate this program because it is so dysfunctional at this point.
UC Davis, located in the heart of California’s Central Valley, is a premier public university known for its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. As one of the leading institutions in the University …
I would NEVER go to this school. Even their campus police allows physical violence and I have no idea how anyone with diverse opinions could ever feel like their speech is free on this campus. Gross.
i saw people getting attacked and campus police did absolutely nothing. i know some that got assaulted ON SCHOOL CAMPUS. absloutly unreal. we need to defund UCDavis. this is unfair to us who have worked hard to pay for this.
It was very good. My 4-H group went to UC Davis, and I got a platinum award!
Stunning campus. The staff is very friendly. The weekend is a lot quieter but still plenty to do. A walk along the arboretum is a must.
Winter for work to take out some stuff in the Pavilion your friend left his wallet buy the car on the sidewalk for an hour came out it was still there very trustworthy campus
An incredible university with outstanding rankings. A top ten campus of the university of CA system. I enjoyed a pleasant walk through the campus this Halloween, and captured some very cool pictures. Check them out! …
Super cool campus! It's has a bunch of trees and also feels modern and new! It seems they have been doing a lot of construction lately so it will look even better in the near future! Great School.
Beautiful modern green campus...lots of points of interests, nature and art.
Terrible university just let riot activists assault people. This was at a T.P.USA event. Not safe place to be. Watch the YouTube videos. Local police will watch you get assaulted.
