Wesleyan University

Wesleyan University is a top liberal arts school nestled in the beautiful CT River valley. They have excellent research and a graduate program, and many great undergrad degrees to choose from. The campus is picturesque and features architecture by Henry Bacon, who also designed the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. It is a great campus to visit, with tours available through the Admissions office.

I live right next to Wesleyan. They do not care about whether they disturb their neighbors. There is a construction site that runs Monday-Saturday starting at 7 am. They do not give a flying **** if their sounds ruin their neighbors Saturday mornings. I asked them to at least switch from beep alarms to white noise alarms (osha approved). There are times when I have to hear backup alarms for hours, with 10 second breaks in between. They didn’t care. Last fall two construction workers were hospitalized due to a scaffolding fall. I feel so bad for them but I’m not surprised. On top of that, they will also deploy their landscaping crews as early as 8 am. They don’t give a **** about anyone but the people giving them money.

Very interesting Van Vleck observatory is open to the public for hands on tour every Wednesday evening. 8- 9 pm (Be sure to check the website first ).Located next to the Olin library on Wesleyan campus Middletown CT. Fun visit ☺️

My 50th reunion was great. Remains a challenging and exciting place.

The worst neighbors ever with their constant construction; 6 days a week with no regard for the people living near them. I hope they all have to live with the torture of working from home with a cherry picker constantly beeping for hours on end at some point in their lives

I like Wesleyan University because I graduated from there in 2017, plus I go to the dances in the spring and fall from Middlesex Transition Academy. I love taking pictures of the Wesleyan University campus at night and in the day.

My daughter has just started (freshman.) She is VERY happy. She reports that Sophomores and other Freshmen were very welcoming. Beautiful campus. Parents' Weekend was fun and inspirational. The A Capella chorus at the end of the event was lovely.

My son went to Wesleyan in early 2000s & I have lived near campus on & off since I was a kid. It's always been a beautiful campus but I hadn't walked it since he played football there. I went to check out the football field & saw all the new buildings. Still one of the prettiest campuses I've visited
