I'm beyond excited to start the journey with Warner University. Although I will be taking classes online. I appreciate the opportunity the school presented me with. I am currently in the process of getting started. (paperwork, transcripts etc) Mr. Dawson Johnson has been reaching out to me every step of the way! I really appreciate that dearly being one whom have been out of school for some time now. It is a comforting feeling to know you have people you could count on to help you get through. I cant wait to start my first class!!! :)
Two years ago I started here and attended classes for 3 weeks. My family had to move quickly due to my husbands job change and I had to put school on hold. For the 3 weeks I attended, and keep in mind the first week is a syllabus week, I owed them over 3,000. I wrote a letter explaining to them my situation and no response except "pay your account or we are sending you to collections". Two years later I pay $100/month still on the account. Worst school ever. $1,500 down and only $1,500 more to go.
Our daughter was so excited to attend a university for her first year and within 1 month begged to come home because the school is not what they claim. It’s dorms and even apartments are left unlocked at all time and the campus isn’t safe for anyone. Some very bad things have happened and students are not made aware to take precautions. The school will say the students can use the gym but get kicked out because staff will not take the time to supervise( required to be in the gym). Staff told my daughter they are not paid enough. If you get on a basketball scholarship make sure it’s varsity because the JV team is a joke and they don’t get uniforms or anything for that matter. Track coach is awesome but no track on campus. Security is never seen and no help. My daughter is leaving after 1 semester and get get home fast enough. She feels unsafe and Holland apartments on campus never answer calls or try to help with anything.Ann in the office is the only level headed worker on campus. The teachers are great but the cheer coaching was a nightmare. My daughter and her boyfriend will continue their education someplace that actually has the school under control and can handle safety issues in a professional manner and keeps the students safety a priority.
This is a fantastic, faith-oriented institution that has great academics & athletics. I am especially impressed with their basketball program, led by Coach Hanrahan & his awesome staff. They grow young men on & off the court, something that isn't found everywhere. I always look forward to visiting the campus & cheering their squads, Go Royals 👊🦁🏀!
Great Cristian College in Lake Wales. A wonderful college to get your degree. A 36 liberal arts and professional major for undergrads studies. One of requirements is that you must have a good relationship with God to be accepted. The campus is a wonderful place to sit down and relax appreciating the beautiful view. The university have a great athletic scholarship program. I recommend if you look for an advance career.
The overall experience of Warner is lackluster. Their coaching staff, specifically the baseball team do not uphold the Christian values that are labeled clearly on their website. Their coaching staff slander and speaks down on their own players, something you don’t expect from good Christian role models at a private Christian college.
It’s honestly sad that you can tell a lot of the people employed here were educated here as well. Let me tell you of the nightmare that was my initial experience at Warner University. It starts with enrollment and everything is fine, then I receive my first schedule and realized I had two classes scheduled at the same time, this confused me so I spent weeks trying to get in touch with the proper person to solve the issue. Next off to financial aid after filling out the required paperwork months in advance I still have to make 2 repeat visits as well as a stop on my first day due to “incomplete or missing paperwork” otherwise known as lost. I then am told a week before classes start that I owe $4000 and missed my first payment a week ago and to be sure to get it in before the first day of classes. This confuses me and of course after weeks of trying to get the appropriate folks to answer the phone I am told that I was enrolled as an “on-campus” student. This also confuses me as I had filled out the form stating I would be a commuting student, and so I ask and of course there is no responsibility taken I am simply expected to fill out yet another form in duplicate. All of this would be understandable if it weren’t for a hit or miss teaching faculty and the fact that the school’s “business office” (what a joke!) has been jacking me around on receiving a refund on the payment I had to make before classes start but later found out was unnecessary. So I am stuck as a broke college student waiting on the inept staff of Warner University to provide me my refund so that I may finish my semester here and be done with their backwards mindset.
I completed my Masters of Arts in Education through Warner University. It was a great experience. I appreciated the one on one help from all of my professors. I had not been a student for quite some time and I was nervous about the whole process. I was immediately put at ease and I am forever grateful for the encouragement and support.
Terrible college. Was so happy when I was offered a scholarship to play basketball. Come to find out, it was only a fraction of what the total cost was. I was still thrilled to come and play. However, I was put on the JV squad along with 40 other players. That partial scholarship was just a ploy to get more students to attend to increase their bottom line. Completely unethical. So many other parts of this college are wrong. Do not waste your life, go to a better place that has more to offer.
Warner University is a great school to attend! Warner was originally never part of my plan, but I thank God for bringing me here. Here I am at a school where you can shine in your sport, have professors that genuinely care about your success, and make friends that will last a long time. No school is perfect by any means, but when I had a problem, they made sure to correct it. I would strongly recommend Warner University for anyone who is looking for a small, hands-on, Christian college, that wants to receive the most of their education and experience.
