I had a great experience at ATA college. Everyone was very helpful and had the best interest for me to graduate. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I would encourage anybody who is looking for a nursing career to attend and you won't regret it. I just graduated and passed my NCLEX! I'm forever grateful for attending and the help I received from everyone. Thank you! 😁

Definitely recommend this school to other people looking to become a nurse. The cost was cheaper than other schools in the area, but the education received was high quality. They work with you to make paying for your education easy. The staff is very supportive and friendly. The education that is provided prepares you for your NCLEX so your not blinded sided. It is a smaller size college, so your voice is heard here.

Called today and asked what days and times the nursing classes would take place. I was told they were unable to give me that information over the phone - that I would need to sit in on one of their seminars. For one question... No thanks. Something doesn't seem right there. Highly suspicious.

I got expelled after getting in to an altercation with another student that caused me bodily harm as well as my hand to bleed they trespassed me off the property and have been harassing me for the last 2 months due to ATA squad their student leadership program I would not recommend going to this college the instructors are great the administrative not so much and they just allow the students to do what they want without maintaining a safe environment for students to learn in.

I had been on a very long journey to finish Nursing school. The support I received from the professors, staff, and Director of Nursing made it possible for me to finally finish one of my biggest goals/dreams. There were many ups and downs in my life, and in the program as well. It took some tweaking from the DON to get a really good group of nursing staff, and it was worth it. I cannot speak of the other programs, since I was only involved in the Nursing portion of the school, but I had a wonderful experience, the people really cared.

Everyone is willing to help you and be part of your journey. It is your opportunity to build a future.

Great teachers! Ariel Montero and Rachel Kimmons truly care about their students and helping them flourish through the program. They are outstanding professors. Great school, the only downside to this school is that it is so expensive.

I was part of the nursing program and all though I was able to finish the program it wasn’t without a fair share of struggles. The nursing program is cut throat as it is, when I started the program in 2022 the school was full of cheaters and the staff was unsupportive to say the least. We got a new DON and she tweaked the program to the success it is now. That being said this school is still VERY unorganized to the point the rough draft of my care plan (that is required to pass the clinical portion of the term) was “misplaced” by one of the professors. I asked the said professor over and over again if there were any edits I had to make before turning in the final copy and they kept on telling me it was perfect and no adjustments were needed and no final copy needed to be turned in. Imagine my surprise when I checked my grades the day after Christmas to find out I was failed for an incomplete care plan. I was desperately reaching out to the staff at STC to try and find a solution, everyone sent me to voicemail, left me on read, just to ultimately tell me there was nothing they could do and my fail was final (I didn’t get a response until after the new year). I was not the only student that this happened to; however, I was the only student that was not permitted to come in and make the adjustments needed in order to pass. The teacher took no responsibility of their actions. I was failed and was forced to repeat the clinical and pay for it all over again as my only other option would have been to fail out. This was the same clinical I only got to go to once since it was right after hurricane Ian. They robbed me of my only fail as this program only allows one failed class per student. Although I am grateful I was able to complete the program and pass my NCLEX, this would not be an experience I would repeat at this school.

When I enrolled at Southern Technical College, I was very hesitant and scared! Lucky enough for me Angela Elmer who is apart of the admissions team was there to soothe my fears and to help me out with everything I was concerned about!! She told me everything I needed to know and guided me the whole way through the medical assistant program! She is so helpful and so kind with the biggest heart! Thank you STC team!!

Amazing group of people who are 100% committed to see the students succeed. I completed the nursing program at ATA and would recommended it to anyone who is interested in nursing. Completely changed my life.
