Sure would be nice if the grounds crew could make sure the sprinkles are off for the 4th of July fire works. This is the 2nd year they have come on as we were waiting for the fire works to start.
Incredible education opportunities for the community and anyone that attends here. Classes are from great professors, affordable credits, and small class sizes. I enjoyed my time at CSI and felt fully ready to transfer to a university and continue my education.
Although I personally took over full time credits which I do not suggest, the professors and students are what made the time I went to campus very enjoyable and a friendly atmosphere.
09/20/2024 The college is great. Yet it is in a dead town where there are no jobs. People cannot afford to live in Twin Falls unless they work in the factories, the hospital, the college or are already established from outside Twin Falls. I am an alumni but my life has been destroyed by living in Twin Falls and going to the College of Southern Idaho due to the lack of jobs in the community. 09/20/2025 I am not a fan of this college. I witnessed the English Chair overlook plagiarism of a student back in 2013. Yes, Dr. Draney. The person who committed this plagiarism is still at large. I am sad to say I am an Alumni of this college because of what I witnessed.
Attended from 2013-2015. Overall enjoyable experience. Smaller classrooms with great professors who care. Never had a problem with financial aid, and lived in the dorms two different semesters. Great library and work out facilities. Quiet, focused environment to complete my two year degree. Paid low tuition for high quality education. Best decision ever made, and in my opinion-- best hidden gem in America.
Feel free to go to this college if you want a bunch of busywork, nothing assignments that do nothing to further your education. The administration is also appalling incompetent. Teachers are nice for the most part, but the structure of classes (often beyond their control) is not conducive for learning. I'm honestly shocked reading some of these reviews... makes me think that they must be deleting some of them because most of the students I know who have gone here do not have positive things to say.
The teachers and the staff are friendly and so amazing! I feel like I am getting a really good education! I wish I could give 5 stars though. I do have to say that I am not pleased with the Financial Aid office. So far this semester, I have had a hard communicating with them and I feel like they have lost W2 forms more than once.
A beautiful campus, many community activities, and classes. I have taken 6 art classes with two different professors and they were all very rewarding. I also find it a great place to walk and train my dog.
Good stepping stone for starting college. Cheap tuition, small class sizes, and just about all my teachers were extremely knowledgeable and professional in their classrooms but knew when to be authentic as well. My only complaints are mainly what you'll get on every other college campus. A bad professor here and there, internet goes down a few times a semester, due to the size scheduling especially for non-traditional or full-time students can be difficult. However, overall the professors and administrative staff are polite and eager to help.
This is a mixed bag. I have to give CSI a 5 star rating on their staff and faculty. Everyone I've encountered in my classes and different buildings has been super nice and helpful. Also the campus is gorgeous, and my family and I love walking here. That said, I give them a 0 star rating on community safety. They have no mask policy and students and staff are not required to wear masks. We are in the middle of a pandemic, and Idaho is one of the hardest hit states in the country. CSI is doing nothing about it. As a student, I feel unsafe in my classes where almost all students are unmasked and many of them are coughing and hacking. Honestly, I'm scared.
