I'm sure it's a fine college. I have an issue with the wording on their website involving a federally mandated traffic course. When you get your license, you take defensive driving. When you get a speeding ticket under the age of 25, you take the Alive at 25 NSC federal course. Why are they selling me a generic defensive driving course, when the defensive driving course page online says "Alive at 25" on the page. Then there's a full separate page that says "Alive at 25" and nothing else. I cannot comprehend why they both say "Alive at 25" when one is NOT the Alive at 25 course. Because of the website editor incompetency, I now have to pay a court fee and extend my case because they can't get it together with their website wording. Was an instant refund stay away. Fix your website and stop playing with people's lives I changed the stars from 1 to 2 to bypass Google filtering. It's 1 star all day

A STRONG word of warning to any, all, and potential donors and future students to this institution. I encourage you to reach out to current students (especially students in the dental program) about their experiences and their treatment by professors and secretaries. There is a lackluster approach to professionalism and the general want for students to succeed. My opinion of this institute would be different if these were isolated incidences but these are multiple horror stories by current students. Donors and future students be warned!

This is an amazing community college; I learned a lot of useful skills and knowledge while attending. I went for the Automotive Technology program and would not recommend it more. It is by far one of the best programs at the campus. The instructors are very outgoing and understanding. Tom and Todd run one of the best college automotive programs in central Illinois. Without them I would not be the technician I am today. I would highly suggest going through this program if you attend or plan on going to Illinois Central College.

Took my granddaughters 16 birthday photos in the horticulture area. Beautiful doesn't do it justice!

Great place to easily get a degree. Not a great place to get a valuable education. Classes are inexpensive, the material is easy, they have resources, staff is friendly and if you are a midwesterner then this is a great step up. If you’re from a coastal state you’re going to feel like you’re back in the 6th grade

Amazing professors and a quality administration. It made my time here fly by. Not to mention how much they help their students succeed. Highly recommend.

Great place to get your education started. Friendly and professional staff. Diverse students of different age groups. Great trade programs. Financial aid professionals. Up to date curriculum. And fun knowledgeable teachers.

This school is awful. Most of the instructors are not supportive, they are short, they don't help, and it's like they try to set you up for failure. And if you sign up for online classes, the instructors barely help and/or don't even respond to emails. Most of the staff here acts like you're an inconvenience. They are extremely rude. I don't know how this school is still running. Staff, instructors, the school as a whole is a terrible example of an organization. This place is a f#@%ing disaster.

this school is very nice. good-> they have free tutors to help you, I passed chemistry and english because of them ->awesome library (but the students can be trashy and noisy, ITS A LIBRARY FOR GOODNESS SAKE) ->if you want a nice experience on your learning, ask peers about good professors, look at Rate My Professor and read EVERYTHING no kidding because most of them are true, but take it with a grain of salt ->VERY cold campus, we arent penguins please take note of that needs improvement-> their organizations, the school is just too boring to me, where are the organizations at?! -> some rooms kinda smell like old carpet, its an odd smell -> the cafeteria is MAD expensive, I never buy stuff there, they serve good wholesome foods but, come on, its general knowledge that college students are broke, why offer a meal for 4 bucks

They have amazing Photography and Graphic Design programs that are their best kept secret, with new high-end studios and mac computers. I took ALL photo and design classes I could while I was there. I have transferred to a four year school now, but I miss ICC so much! The teachers at ICC were the nicest people, unlike at my current university... I wish ICC offered Bachelor's.
