This college I attended since August 2003 after I graduated from high school. I been tricked by placement test that caused me to take Pre-Credit classes to be majored in general studies. That's NOT my favorite major. I was in the computer lab hanging around inside the Learning Resource Center building section. It was open to general public so I DO NOT care they open to general public. Since 2014, I dropped out of Wright College and never go back there ever again. I took my college business elsewhere that have great their great services, great staff and great professors too. If you're NOT satisfied with one of City Colleges of Chicago locations, don't even go there.

I am an ESL student and I had problems with my schedule, and I went to the office several times and they always tell me something different, I have never seen so much disorganization. And I say this because before studying at Harry Truman, I unfortunately changed direction.

Enrolled in the college in 2020 and left after the 2020 school year. It ended up becoming a huge mess in 2020 because they rather have online courses than in-person courses which ruined me from completing any of my work in my first year of college and also speaking of working it was even worse that general education courses are required courses and if you want a major then tough luck because gen ed courses will try to make you regret going to college and when I left Wright after my 1st year and what made me mad was that I learned that colleges in Europe had no general education courses and ever since I heard about it I regret not going to college in Europe. If only colleges in the U.S. had no general education courses if it didn't have general education courses then I would be graduating this year or next year or in 2026 depending on the major I have but NOPE.

I went to the GED office everything was perfect and very nice people there but NOT tutoring center office A-245 , I can't believe Wright college still have these people in its offices reception! They need to learn how to nicely receive students ,being nice won't cost you anything, you're in college not at your home ,remember that ! If you feel that's not your place plz move , without students you'll never be there .I'm talking about the black lady with glasses at reception. Also remember that next time I'll definitely REFUSE your service in front of everyone. Since you're in school take advantage to LEARN.

This place is the worst no one calls you back trying for about two weeks. I show up at the school and the adult education office they are so rude and no one in that office wanted to help. It's funny how much we pay for classes and the teachers and stuff are rude and don't care. And why are we pay this much for class and everything is almost online with no teacher. Not happy with this school and will not recommend it

This college is the worst colleges in the history of Chicagoland and I thought that the teachers care more about students with special needs and disabilities as well but it seems like they don’t really care about disabilities students like us who struggle through catching up with some homework assignment on blackboard and has to be submitted by those instructor which they never graded it at all over the past two months or so I had a terrible experience of being part of this school which is too far compared to where I’m live at now every day I always take three buses and two train like the red line train to the blue line train and a extra bus to get there but always get there very late and the students from there are so sarcastic and not really friendly that much often. But the services are very low like I’ll give it like around one or two stars ⭐️⭐️

*note - typos are due to phone issues, not poor education. I have had good experiences at this school and also at Harold Washington. The teachers are the best part of community colleges. My understanding is that they are chosen based on their ability to teach, rather than what research they are doing (which I'm told is the major criteria for hiring professors at 4 year universities). The only negative experience here, has been some minor harassing by the business office about tuition payment. This is somewhat understandable, but my frustration is due to having already spoken with the office about when I will pay, but I'm still receiving constant reminders to do so. That really is minor though and I would recommend this school to anyone. Very friendly and helpful teachers, cafeteria workers (food is decently priced to) and custodial staff. Haven't really interacted with anyone other than that.

One of the best higher education institutions i have had the pleasure of attending. When comparing it to the universities in the city of Chicago, this school definitely is an equivalent in every way in regards to the sciences. I'm blessed to have the wonderful support system that is the City Colleges of Chicago. I would recommend this school to anyone looking to further there education, or accomplish any needed career-oriented coursework.

Letter to reader : Most of the negative reviews I read I believe come from failing students . I admit , when I get a c or d grade for a class I want to believe it's the teacher or school for my failure . But outside academia , this school …

The school is pretty decent. It's a CCC so I would not expect much. Fin-Aid is absolutely horrible! Although there is one helpful lady there named Agnes. The Assistants in the Dean's Office are absolutely amazing, they are probably the most …

This college is definitely not the greatest. Staff from the advising office, financial aid office, and even professors are rude and constantly send you somewhere else. If you send an email to anyone at this college, you will more than …

Great college, actually best city college. Went to Truman for a semester, never again! Wright is great, but minus a star because they make classes available without even having professors, should take off three, because selling services at …

Doris E .from the engineering department here is one of the most amazing members of the city colleges community to work with. She brings personality to the academic environment and coaches her students with a level of commitment that is void of toxic ego.

If you are looking for a challenge. check out the prof a the great book society faculty. Does classes teach by those prof are no joke. if you are serious about your education check them out. If not you can always be a mediocre and take a class with a TBA prof.

I if you planning on going to this school, think again. The people in the finical aid department are incompetent to say the least. I relish in the thought of one of them one day being in dire need of assistance only to find themselves …

I was trying to complete my registration, so when I called by a lady at registrar's office, she immediately said yes? yes? ... I said hi, how are you? she said yes?! So I changed my decision to going back to this college for now. That behavior means: I do not like you here. I'm old and poor, maybe she has right to hate me!
