I had some really good professors, but I dont think it was worth the money. The campus is beautiful, and so it the neighborhood. I was exposed to all the transgender lunacy before it really took off. I feel like I had a 10-year start to the social pathogen of extreme left identity politics. I paid out of pocket, and it bothers me when I get calls from DePaul to see if I want to donate money to help others pay for their tuition. Honestly, dont go to college if all you earn is a liberal arts bachelor's degree, and if you do want to do that, go to a public university.
Education Department failed my sons class causing him to delay his graduation 6 months and adding $12,000 to his education costs because his observation teacher turned in his report 5 hours after the class deadline. My son's a 3.5 GPA and very conscientious student. NO ONE to go to for assistance in making more sense of this action. NO ONE overseeing the professors making these outrageous decisions. The President refused to offer input. TERRIBLE Education Department. BEWARE of the this school where professors have absolutely NO accountability!
I graduated from here and i can confirm they only want your money, especially if you are international student, stay away stay away stay away. Also, good luck getting on campus job because you will never.
It is a fantastic school. Three of my kids have gone there and done very well for themselves after graduating. All of the staff are very helpful.
it was a donor's dinner at the student Center that was very nicely done. presenters were excellent and the food was great.
If I could give them a zero I would. DePaul cares more about money than they do about the well-being of their students. This is an overpriced institution that does everything to charge for small fees or exaggerate pricing. I’m a junior now and would transfer if I wasn’t so far in. Don’t go here
I wouldn’t recommend this college other than the campus is really beautiful and you have access to the city and what that offers/provides. I thought a lot of the teachers were just okay and the counseling and mentoring services provided were barely existing during my time here. I also think they don’t advocate for students enough as I knew some people who went through some pretty terrible events at the university and they just wiped it under the rug and didn’t deal with the matter. Just be careful before you commit and spent tens of thousands of dollars.
I have been a student of DePaul University - Law College since 2019. Before joining DePaul I was contemplating between DePaul and other Universities, I am so happy I made the right choice to join DePaul. Not only is it a prestigious University with many famous alumni names, but also because it is a University that has made the list of the top best Universities for many years. Depaul has the best facility you can hope to study under, the administration are very helpful and my advisor, is one of the best, always available whenever I needed assistance, guidance or help. If you are a graduate of DePaul, you can be sure that employers will want to add you to their staff. Being part of DePaul, is being part of a large educational family. There are two campuses, the main one is located in Lincoln Park and the other one is located in the Loop, right in the heart of the business hub, if you are attending College of Law or College of Business. There are two huge libraries in the Loop campus, with access to Starbucks, as well as to, Barnes and Nobles. In both Colleges you have cafeterias amd study lounges. There is a Toastmasters club at DePaul and many other groups and clubs to join. Also, DePaul offers a help center, fpr students who may need extra help with certain classes, as well as, a writing center for whenever you need your essays reviewed, with feedback and assistance in improving it before submission. With all of the above and more, I could not possibly list all of the things DePaul os known for, or offers, but I can tell you one thing, if you happen to choose DePaul and become accepted, be sure you are part of the many successful people who will graduate with pride. DePaul is my University and hopefully it will be yours.
Appreciated being able to tour campus! Safety protocols were in place. Beautiful campus.
Terrible University. Avoid it. The administration is suffering from a politically standoff, students suffer as a result. Student Resources exists, but are mired in outdated information, broken websites, and underfunded programs. The professors themselves are fine, but not exceptional. This university should be demolished.
