They are nice to talk with and also have a beautiful campus with nice area to walk. I wish they would follow up well with contracts in a collaborative fashion to help build support. 🍁 🍃 🍂 🌳 🇺🇸 ⛪️ …
Beautiful campus, but do not recommend for people of color. The library is great and the college has lots of fun events, but Wheaton overall is still deeply rooted in racism, but it is subtle.
Top notch university, through and through. Loved my entire recruiting visit with Coach Stremler, Coach Paul, and the entire softball team. Everyone is classy, respectful, and humble, and you definitely get what you pay for on both the academic and athletic side of things. The sports facilities are amazing, and the opportunity to learn from professors that have the highest degrees in their fields is just something that you can’t pass up. You also get the opportunity to continue your relationship with Christ, which is invaluable. I loved Wheaton, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to challenge themselves to be the best that they can possibly be. Plus, if you are blessed enough to get the opportunity to play sports here, take it. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance that I wish I didn’t ultimately decide to pass up.
Beautiful campus, welcoming and friendly students and staff, and the sports facilities are second to none. Coach Stremler and Coach Patricca were great!
Gorgeous... just by the looks, it conveys great knowledge... very historic... stunning architecture and impeccable landscaping
Fantastic, faith-centered, educational community, rooted in a Christian worldview and healthy liberal arts. The campus and sense of community are lovely. Great opportunities to explore the Chicagoland, and the world. Students are encouraged and challenged to grow, learn, expand their minds, enlarge their hearts, and serve Christ and His Kingdom.
I love it here. I'm sorry to see all the negative reviews, but I guess it's less common for people to think about leaving a review on Google maps (of all places) when they have nothing to complain about. To balance some perspectives, particularly on 'Biblicality', here is a more positive review. I consider most of Wheaton's policies reasonable and Biblical. Being an ecumenical institution, it makes sense that there are difficulties appealing to all denominations, but I think Wheaton does as good a job of it as they can. Most events that may prefer one denomination over another, or that some may disagree with (such as all-school communion) are completely optional When something is mandatory (chapel and a few classes), we students are always free to respectfully disagree with professors, speakers, or other students. The most controversial of these is chapel 3x/week, as there is an incredibly diverse roster of speakers. Still, we have 11 free skips per semester (even if you go over in non-consecutive semesters you just get a warning), and are given the schedule ahead of time. If all else fails, no one is stopping anyone from putting in earbuds and/or studying. At the end of the day, though it's a Christian institution, it is also a human one. There are going to be flaws etc. etc. For what it's worth, I think it's a blessing, and am grateful to all the dedicated faculty and staff that have worked hard to make and keep it that way. God Bless.
Nice place to study. Huge collection of books and reading material. Library staff is also very cordial and friendly.
I have found better scripture and morals written on bathroom stall doors than what they currently teach at this college.
This once exceptional University has abandoned Biblical truth and taken it's eye off the ball. In considering it for our own children, we spoke to numerous students and did extensive research. There is a very apparent deconstructionist movement embedded in the culture of the College.
Gotta give an honest review. Attended grad school from 2014-16. Great professors, great people and extremely weird undergrad dating culture. …
Amazing school where all the faculty and staff truly care about the students. The campus has a great historic feel and is worth touring if you are in town. Consistently ranks at the top of lists of Christian liberal arts colleges.
Fantastic programs and something for every student. There's smaller communities that help students find a community that fits them and that they can be comfortable in. Beautiful and (mostly) up to date residence halls. Great professors …
As you've probably noticed, most of the recent reviews of Wheaton College have been related to the controversy regarding Dr. Hawkins. I would just like to say that, in spite of all of the negative press Wheaton has received in the past …
I love this school. I have never been so challenged academically, spiritually, and relationally. Be ready to work hard but grow in your faith and walk with Jesus Christ! For Christ and His Kingdom!
They have no right to call themselves a Christian College. How did they allow the players involved to still attend classes and participate on the football field. NCAA should investigate and all administrators and coaching staff should be terminated immediately
They don't honor and appreciate their alumni. They downright are embarrassed by them.
Great environment and great people.
Great Christian liberal arts education. Great executive leadership under president Dr Phil Ryken. Surprisingly enjoyable school culture.
Great professors and cohort! As an international student I appreciate what I've experienced here. Wheaton College is a place that really cares about God's kingdom and his people!
