It's great to see everyone at homecoming. I was very impressed with the new stadium and fieldhouse constructed this year. Nice to see that Norton Center for the Arts continues to offer such a great variety of opportunities for the students and community. Congratulations to the college for their continued recognition for outstanding academics and study abroad.
Beautiful campus and town. We were in Danville for another reason but decided to walk through campus since it was a beautiful day and a Centre alum friend recommended it. The glass sculptures on the campus grounds were such a treat to see!
Class of 1994 My time at Centre was extraordinary. The education was top-notch, the faculty were all there for us, and the student body were, simply, wonderful people to whom I owe much gratitude for helping me to become a more civilised and productive member of society. There aren’t many such places. I truly thank our lucky stars that I landed so well.
Best college ever! If you want your kids to have doors open for them, experience unimaginable opportunities through travel and academic challenges then this is the place to send them. Don't let the tuition figure prevent you from applying! You never know what might come your way. We're 2+ years into our experience at Centre College. The difference it has made for my socially and academically inclined daughter is outstanding. I can't say enough good things about this institution.
In 1973 I went to Centre from New Orleans and graduated with a BA in English in 1977. True, Centre is not as well-known as it deserves to be, but people who are knowledgeable about small liberal arts colleges, usually know it and respect it. I have never felt that some potential employers' lack of knowledge about Centre has hurt my ability to get a job. While there are some drawbacks to a small college compared to larger schools, Centre's community is very special, and this sense of community continues on years after graduation among alumni. At Centre I felt appreciated for my individuality and recognized as a unique person. This was a gift to me. As both an alum and also a university teacher, I can attest to how well Centre is envisioned and managed by its board, president, staff, and faculty: its liberal arts mission, strategic planning, and implementation are seamlessly linked, producing an impressive unity of thought and action. It's a dynamic institution.
Very nice campus. Staff and students are polite and helpful. The facilities have all been recently remodeled and up to date. A lot of history here!!
The graduation ceremonies were fabulous and 1st class. Thank you Centre for my son's 4 years of experience, learning, and personal development.
I think the college should do more about students abusing how they get volunteer hours. Many show up at non-profit institutions to do work. Then basically do nothing. Then lie and make a false report. Seriously need to crack down on it. As it is pushing extra work off on serious volunteers.
Love the campus! All students have a negative test 1 week before they get there, then get another test T drop off.... live statistics online. They can beat COVID
Beautiful campus. We came for diving competition. Nice pool area. New pool coming soon
