NMC's Great Lakes Campus in on the West Bay waterfront houses the Great Lakes Maritime Academy, Great Lakes Culinary Institute and Lobdell's: A Teaching Restaurant, the Great Lakes Water Studies Institute and the Hagerty Conference Center. Said I was too old to attend and yet on their website it is stated there is no age limit. What a lie they do tell. Be careful when you tell them your age as they are very biased. Update 12/05/22. have not heard back about why they say one thing and the opposite happens. I sent this issue to a lawyer friend of mine and was told that it happens all the time with institutions like this one. Most times I want to try and understand why they have a restriction on age.
