Great educational institution located in the southwest Michigan area in the Battle Creek locality. Awesome for transferring to a major accredited educational institution after completing a 2 year program. Very diverse student population with a unique blend of ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds. Overall an excellent choice for anyone pursuing a higher education.

Going back to school (at my age & with my disability issues) was a challenge for me, to say the least. I struggled with just 2 classes, but staff was so helpful & supportive! Smaller campus (relatively speaking) made it so much easier. So very thankful to live where I do (USA) & have the opportunity (as a woman) to be able to go back to school!!

The nursing program is worth checking out, and the biology courses are top notch. If you have a chance to take a course with Cynthia Herbrandson or Dr. Thomas Wood, you will not be disappointed. I truly appreciate educators who engage students in unique ways and make learning the material an unforgettable experience! In addition the campus and newly remodeled Student Center look great!

We visited to watch their free Halloween concert put on by the KCC concert band. They did a great job. I look forward to the holiday concert in December! I've taken a few IT classes here in the past and really like the instructors.

I obtained my LPN through KCC 16 years ago and this school was top 8 on the state at that time! I enjoyed my schedule;rigorous but for good reason and two main instructors that used there own life experiences was Cindy Boland and Kathy Newton very amazing instructors that had a great impact on me. The instructors have a sense of humor, especially Ms. Newton which is helpful when you get test anxiety the way I did.

Most of the Instructors are decent and helpful and the classes are straightforward and easy, but way too expensive for what you get out of them. The administrators are also mostly friendly. Worst aspect of this college are the academic advisors, because they are deceptive and lead students down the wrong path most of the time. The academic advisors do not follow the academic catalogs and will avoid giving you the correct information that is presented in the catalog. The academic evaluations do NOT match what is listed in the academic catalogs from 2009-2017. Beware of this college and know for sure what you are getting into before you decide to enroll.

Good college. All, but one, classes transfered to university of Michigan - Ann Arbor. Multiple scholarships are available for hardworking students to make the experience costless. Books are expensive but that could be covered under scholarships or from outside book stores. Overall smooth transition from this community college to a 4 year institution. As for the advisors, always double check the suggested classes before enrollment to keep problems away.

Very unhelpful and rude staff. Was denied my scholarship and ignored by the financial aid office because Im young and dont live with parents which is crazy.
