I have had nothing, but positive experiences attending Grand Valley State University through the University Center in Traverse City! The classroom sizes are much smaller than they are on main campus which is great for learning. Being able to have the time to ask lots of questions and really get to know the other students is a bonus as well. It is great that there is the option to attend and receive a degree through Grand Valley without having to move or make long commutes to class.

Grand Valley State University has given me the opportunity to build on my skills and experience. I've grown thanks to the Liberal Studies program in Traverse City. I've forged many deeply connections and felt encouraged to build and deepen existing relationships. I find myself wishing for more time to connect, reflect, and engage with my community. Knowledge gained in my time at GVSU will serve me for the rest of my life, no matter what career path I choose.
