My son freshman year in college I love love love this campus!!! Very intimate all so about an hour away from home.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to ANYONE as long a Steven Corey is President. No respect for staff or students. It breaks my heart as an alumni to be writing this, but what’s the point of keeping quiet as the place is being destroyed.
The sports complex was not impressive and a little outdated in my opinion. It's a D3 college facility, not a park n rec playground.
The campus is well maintained. My daughter enjoyed her education.
I love this college. The classes are very small with a 17:1 student to teacher ratio and a roughly 1,100 student campus. Everyone is super friendly, the professors actually care about your education and take the time to get to know you and know your name. All of my professors know me by name and address me by name and they say hello to me in the halls when they see me because the recognize me. The campus itself is gorgeous in all four seasons and it's so small it takes roughly 5 minutes (give or take a few) to get anywhere for classes and they offer an all you can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner facility for meals and right down the street on Main Street are many mom and pop type stores, so even the regular population of Olivet, Michigan is very welcoming. I would, with everything in me, recommend this college to anyone and everyone because it is just wonderful. (that is if you don't mind small)
My grandson goes here. This has been the best place for learning, creating a network of friends. Could not have been a better fit. And his swim family is the best!
I’ve visited the University several times while doing photography sessions and weddings and the campus is very picturesque! A great little college town.
Beautiful campus, very happy people and everyone is laughing, staff is very nice and the biology teacher has experience in medicine, she also had animals in her office that were open to her students, financial aid responded well to questions, food looked amazing and had many options, and the band director even made me want to do band again.
The insurance & risk management program is one of the top programs in the country. If you don't mind a smaller school and town I highly suggest the insurance program at Olivet College. You will receive an outstanding education, career experience, exposure to the industry through trips to MAIA conference, RIMS, etc., and above all else I have never seen a program/college so committed about helping you in your career search.
My son attends Olivet , my wife has called several times to get his WiFi to work in his dorm room . They keep saying they will take care of it but they never do. All the money we pay this school and he can’t even have WiFi . Really! Beware before you stay in these dorms .
