Attended DSU for one semester, and did not have great experience. There was no student life, some of the professors were not professional as they should be, any time you call for anything from any of the departments it was very unorganized. When I got assigned an advisor, I called the advisor and she didn’t even know she was an advisor. Diversity was great among student population, but did experience a bit of racism from the faulty and staff from DSU. School is also very unorganized. There was absolutely nothing to do on campus or off campus after the first week of school.
DSU is one really awesome university! Small enough campus that most classes are only a 10 min walk away but also big enough that there are alot of events to go to so you'll never run out of things to do here. Really all this school needs is maybe better funding so they quit making budget cuts. Overall good place to go to college!
None of the office workers have their stuff together. If you call financial aid and ask them the same question twice, you will get two completely different answers. Paperwork is always behind, it's like no one knows how to communicate. This is NOT a very professionally run school. And don't even get me started on student life.
Very nice facilities. Nice people
I toured here for Preview Day and my experience was great! The people are very nice and welcoming! I'm gonna be attending here for my Aviation Operation degree. #DeltaStateUniversity
Love the atmosphere if you leave hunger it’s your own fault
I was there supporting GIS on campus and met with the dean Provost and the GIS instructor… Great campus and wonderful people.
Dsu cafeteria is a great place to eat. It is buffet style and the food is great..
Woodall Conference was wonderful !
Friendly staff, cosy campus, nice teachers, diverse human resources. Maybe not as big and diverse as other campuses but it is definitely diverse enough.
