The worst place to take a class and the instructor will call out a minute before your class and expect you to just make another time for her being very unprofessional, awful communication, you could have easily sent out a mass email the moment you knew which upon asking the staff was around more than an hour from when the class started, rather than having students drive and mess up their day schedule and work. I would never be taking a class at this campus due to the administration office very rude and would not help. Will not find a substitute solution or help you reschedule your class simply because its not their job, as if that's our problem all they seek is that we have empathy towards what happened to the teacher I don't care since no care was given to my schedule and time, I simply lack the empathy towards this matter due to the way it was handled. The instructor Michelle Roof called out due to an insect bite, on the other hand If it was me the student who submitted this as an excuse to not being able to attend my class, the instructor would have still counted it as an absence and would not extend any assignments, and I can assure you of that, as I had worse happen and got no empathy from instructors at this school specifically. We are adults despite our emergencies we should be able to communicate to others who we are responsible of since their time is as important as your time. The moment I realize I would not be able to attend my class I should be sending a mass email to my students and not have them drive for no reason and mess up their schedule because of my emergency. Every degree plan requires you to take at least one communication class, and this subject is always discussed. My emergency is not others concerns; my emergency is for me to handle it with maintaining my responsibilities. . Its a 7 hour class they should work on finding a substitute teacher rather than expecting others to find time for them being unprofessional. It could have been as simple as sending out a mass email !

Wake Tech has been the most inconvenient and unpleasant school I've ever attended. Frankly, I have never taken any of the classes due to being disregarded. So, I can’t criticize any of the teachers or other faculty members. Despite being helpful, the advisors are misguided when it comes to obtaining information about a class. For a whole year and seven months, I have been dedicated to enrolling in Massage Therapy, but the director has been leaving me on read for months. I was never informed about the start date of the enrollment period or information session. It's probable that I missed the class AGAIN. I have been constantly checking emails and the school website for updates, but I haven't seen anything. I have been constantly looking for updates on emails and the school website, but I haven't received any. I made multiple in-person visits to the school, but they never reached out to me. Extremely unprofessional. I'm not sure about the other classes, but I've been made aware that a common complaint of Wake Tech is being uninformed. You have to play detective, and be extremely persistent to get anything done. Otherwise, you’ll miss everything. I actually found another community college that is inconvenient in regards to literally driving to. The commute is 1 hour and 15 minutes away. However, they are willing to respect my time and make an effort to inform students about anything. I’ll hear back what seems like record time. If it wasn't for Wake Tech, I would have been getting further education this year instead of sitting around and looking stupid because of the lack of communication and respect for others' time and resources.

Unprofessional staff, you will hear "it's not my job" multiple times when you request anything from them, they cannot take responsibility. You will not find you any solutions and they make it like it's your problem. Unprofessional

Modern campus with up to date educational technology. Competent instructors and faculty. Online portal not completely intuitive, though.

I love this campus. Close to my end of the county, easy parking, plenty of useful places nearby. I realize that has little to do with the campus itself, but it sure helps. I have both taught here and taken classes here, and on the "continuing ed" and "small business education" side of the curriculum, it's a nice place. Big classrooms. Good technology support. Smooth admin. Prompt payment (on the teacher side; can't help you on the student side).

This campus has a lot of the classes and seminars that are helpful for small businesses. The rooms are pleasant and clean and amply big. You don't feel like you are sitting on top of your neighbor. This campus is located in a typical strip shopping center. Sometimes the parking lot is pretty full, but there are always some parking spaces available. Because it is located in a shopping center, there are helpful businesses nearby.

Depending on the time of the day, the availability of parking can be a challenge for the students

It might be a small campus, but it's nice. You're right next to a police station so you feel safe. And of course Publix and some restaurants and close by which is a great perk.
