Valor Christian College

It’s essentially a Rod Parsley personality cult. Not even joking. We had entire classes dedicated to him. The dorms had photos of him all over the walls. We weren’t allowed to talk to him. We had to STAND if he entered a room…like who does that? The man is obsessed with himself . I’m over there to learn about the Bible and so much was about Rod Parsley and his “accomplishments “. Maybe it’s different now but when I was there, I’m pretty sure most the teachers weren’t even qualified to teach.

I truly enjoyed my time as a student of, what was then called, World Harvest Bible College. I acquired not just knowledge but new life experiences that are still helping me to this day. I met incredible people that I'm still connected with years later. The instructor's were amazing, the materials beyond helpful, the other students were just truly good people, of all ages. This is a great choice if you're feeling led to attend a college that will instruct you in ministry training. Of course, I would pray about any big decision like this before making it.

While there are many kind people in the school, no one should go here. The school is essentially an outgrowth of the church, which is actually a pretty cool concept. However, the school was not academically qualified when I attended. They change leadership every 3-4 years (no one stays around for some reason), so I know things may have changed since I graduated, but I doubt it. Every single professor I had was very kind and seemed to genuinely care for their students. Unfortunately, this does not make up for the total lack of biblical teaching. If you go here you will not learn Biblical/systematic theology. You will not learn sound doctrine. You will learn charismatic creeds supported by Scripture torn out of context. You will not learn exegesis. You will learn how to build a cult following fueled by propaganda and hysteria. went to the Masters Welcome play. It was outstanding. From actors, to the costumes, to the story, and if course the sound and pyrotechnics! Very high quality show.

If I could give no stars, I would.
