Easy ways to find the classes comfortable, the classrooms are equipped with everything necessary, this college also has a canteen where they cook fresh food every day you can safely come and drink any drinks soft drinks eat food all fresh, also here there are a lot of rooms where you can retire and read quietly many classes where exams are taken

I came here from my high school CCP classes. I figured the college would be pretty good considering my experiences with the CCP classes weren't bad. Boy was I wrong, it has been nothing but nightmares since I started here. They do not tell you any important information and expect you to be able to find out everything for yourself. A majority of the teachers I have dealt with are near impossible to get in contact with, and one even took an entire week to respond to a question about an important essay, causing me to fail. The classes are beyond awful. I have a major interest in cybersecurity, however i'm now having to turn to something else because the cybersecurity program was using textbooks that were 8 years outdated which made assignments require complicated workarounds. Financial aid and the cashiers office ended up screwing me out of 400 bucks because of a massive error on their end they neglected to fix. I had an assignment that required me to set up 2 more semesters of classes that barely ended up getting finished because the main student advisor was suddenly quitting. Quite frankly I feel bad for the advisors, they get paid like trash, only 20 bucks an hour. If you can afford Sinclair, go to Sinclair. Do not make my mistake.

I've only taken 2 classes here, so my experience is somewhat limited, but boy it has been nightmarish. This is a community college that only offers calculus 1 in the fall, and only in person in the middle of the work day. Because of this, I ended up taking 2 science classes in the fall instead, because they were online, not realizing the labs were AT HOME and ludicrously expensive. Other reviewers have said the teachers are good, support staff not so good. I must be particularly unlucky because one of the 2 professor's I had was literally impossible to reach, I tried multiple times with only one half-*ssed response, for the whole semester. My other prof was great. My advisor was also way less than helpful, and actually apparently quit in the middle of me trying to get registered which was a whole comical cluster. I'm probably going to have to take classes here again at some point, but I'm enjoying sinclair for spring semester in the meantime, because like a community college that caters to working adults, it actually offers Calc 1 online outside of fall semester.

A majority of the positive reviews on this site are biased and are from the staff. Please, heed the warnings that you see here. Some of these positive comments come as a result of the staff coercing someone to post a positive review. Please, do not believe the positive reviews - for the sake of your wallet and academic progress. Coming to this college was nothing but a huge waste of time and money. By far the worst college ON THE PLANET. Please, go anywhere else but here. A lot of the credits do not transfer, the staff is rude and doesn't care about you, and a professor at Sinclair told me that they consider these classes to be sub-standard. Don't waste your time or money. The only thing they care about is your money. I understand that you may want to attend a community college because it's cheaper, but do keep in mind that you only get what you pay for and at clark state that isn't much! Low tuition fees = low quality institution. The professors are not here because they want to ensure the success of their students. They're here to collect a paycheck and enhance the appearance of their resumes.

The professors are awesome, I have learned a lot from them, and most of the time they are very accessible through email. But, the staff is incompetent and honestly haven't helped me in any way. Half the time they have students working in their offices and the students are not only rude, but have no idea how to help you if you have a question. I went into the cashiers office to pay for a semester of classes and was told "This is how much you will owe IF you pay on time" and got a dirty look. The people in the records and registration office are nice and I feel that they're the only office that know what they're talking about and actually want to help you.

Clark state has been an amazing experience to me. The staff and faculty here always go the extra mile to make sure the students have the best experience at school as possible. The student life is amazing here as well, the senate and ambassador programs are great avenues for students looking to be involved In leadership. Overall I am so grateful Clark state is doing such an amazing job

Clark State has been a great college. I have had some phenomenal professors that have answered any questions I have. It is helpful to have someone who has been through the process before show you the ropes, especially getting enrolled and FAFSA forms submitted, but Clark State does try to make it a fairly easy process. If you go for social work (Social Services Technology) I highly recommend Professor Watt and Professor Burr as teachers....they are rock stars at what they do!

My daughter has been trying to reach out to Clark to attend this Fall and NOBODY has returned her messages or calls. So I decided to check into the ratings on this community college. After reading some of the reviews with low ratings I’m understanding why Clark will not return my daughters calls or messages. I’m willing to try one more time in the hopes of getting an explanation. However, if I cannot get a hold of anyone, then I will take it that this is my sign that Clark is obviously NOT the college for my daughter. I would rather look for another college for her to attend with a much better education. if Clark cannot get their stuff together to return messages and called to students that are wanting to attend a hen how can they have their stuff together to teach students. Like I said.... Some of the reviews I read here pretty much tells it all. Thank you for some of the warnings in the reviews.

The advisors do not want to help you succeed, they really just want to waste your money. I have reached out to my advisor multiple times, takes days for her to potentially reach back out to me. After 2 yrs, I thought I was graduating…. Come to find out, I’m not graduating with what I want. I have more classes to take because she directed me in the wrong direction. Communication lacked and maybe I misunderstood a few things, but an advisor should keep in touch.
