Attending Tri-C has been one of the best decisions I've made. and this Tri-C location is my favorite. It sits on top of a valley so you can see for miles on a clear day. It's right off the highway and is next to several restaurants (Chipotle, Chic-Fil-A, Buffalo Wild Wings...) The professors there treat you like an adult and genuinely want to see you succeed. They have TONS of online options for those who need flexibility. Sometimes communication with admin is frustrating but, overall a the school provides a solid experience. The education is top quality and the price is very affordable. To anyone considering bettering their life through education, Tri-C should be on your list. Check out the Eastern Campus.
WOW !!! I can't believe the negative comments. I've been attending Tri - C since the 70's. I've been at Eastern for the past 8 years. My experiences have always been positive ...always! I've made lots of friends, Instructors make themselves available and not just for Academics..they help you out with personal issues to make sure life doesn't affect your success at school. From Administration to Instructors, Tutors to Support and Housekeeping Staff.....they all go beyond their job descriptions. I would question those who wrote negative comments and suggest to that maybe it is the way you approach/ talk to people that might be the reason you might possibly get "attitude" ! I've been to all 3 of the major campuses and an off site campus and never have experienced anything like what has been said by the negative Commentors.
This school is a joke. It’s ran like more of a back alley institution. I should’ve just stayed at Stark State.. 🙄 …
School does not care about their students!!! Especially those struggling mentally going through and abusive relationship, denied me from continuing my education. Absolutely unacceptable and I will be sure to spread this imformation!
Great pool and exercise facilities. Always clean on the inside and out. Cafeteria isn't open much in the summer but there are plenty of vending to get food and drink. If you're a student, your student ID can be loaded with money to purchase from the vending machines. Book store is a little small but staff is extremely helpful and nice. The only thing that really is bad, is they hold your refund for much longer than most other colleges - which is because idiots who sign up for school just to get student loans make the policies stricter.
It's not a bad college to start at. The staff here are nice and helpful and I truly love the instructors here, they're always willing to help and tutor. Sometimes the books and classes are a bit expensive, but it's worth it to come and start at this school and transfer to another later
Eastern campus is a joke compared to thier other campuses. It's like they don't care about you or your future. Teachers here never think it's not in them, If you don't understand what they are saying. Blackboard is the answer for everything when you have a question. And teachers change what they say when it comes to assignments. Trash of a place. Go to Western campus if you want an actual experience and learning experience with teachers who love to teach and food that is actually good with more variety.
Your employees need to learn how to answer the phone properly. I called the counseling office today to see if I can schedule an appointment for a counselor this week, and the lady starts off saying “Well today would’ve been a good day.” Are you serious? That’s how you start off your answer? Condescending and rude? Then she rambles in about orientations and other booked appointments for the week, and I became instantly turned off from her tone and what she was saying. I get it, you’re tired of the same phone calls and people rambling about needing an appointment, but it’s your job to deliver proper service to students. Tri C’s professionalism is a zero compared to many other two year schools around here. Act like you care because the money that we pay for our tuition ends up in your paychecks. This school is a nice option for if you don’t want to pay out the well for tuition, but you get what you pay for.
The staff in the nursing department is helpful, the campus is clean, and has everything a student could need to succeed. It's great they have a nice weightroom, pool and basketball court for students. Highly recommend!!
I am giving Cuyahoga College a 2 Star Rating. I attend here for college, and I plan to stay here to finish as a registered nurse. The only way I will enjoy my time at Tri-C is if I keep in mind a few things: 1. In order to get anything done, I must make sure I ask a ton of questions, and do my part before taking off work to spend a day getting no where and waiting for almost an hour for every department. 2. A LOT of Paitents on my part to deal with a lot of the staff that are clearly there for a pay check, and are very unhelpful if asked anything other than what their specific job titles includes. It seems as so no one knows anything about any other department. This college does not function smoothly. 3. There is continually turn over amount faculty so it takes a few tries to speak to someone who actually can help you with any questions you may have. I purposely asked the same question to 3 different counslers and have been given 3 different answers. 4. If you are not easily self taught this school is not for you. 5. When I expressed my feelings on how things are run, and what they could change to make it easier on the student I was told:" Since you seem to not like how we run things maybe you should check out other options" this to me is a challenging statement because of what will bring me to my next understanding. 6. They know their college is cheap to attended, and they know you will come here because of this so they don't need to care about you. Now that I know they do not care, I will be treating everything I do differently. Get the facts, rate the professor before taking the class, call FASFA and make a check list of everything you need to do. Make sure you document every conversation you have with people. I like e-mails because they leave a paper trail. 7. I will graduate, and I won't spend a ton on college, and when I feel like flipping out I will try to think back to these points and take a deep breath knowing once the semester starts everything will be ok until I need to register for classes again, because people are unhelpful and it is like pulling teeth. 8. There is some staff who actually care, however you have to get through a lot of people who are not good at their jobs to find them. 9. You wanted a cheap school, and you got it. AND Finally the 10# reason why this school is awful, but I will keep attending. 10. This will be my second semester, I keep getting told: "It's hard to get the train rolling, but once you do it will all work out" Unfortunately this is true, and they know it. It's a shame that no one cares enough to fix it.
Tri-C's metro campus is one of the best colleges. The teachers are exceptional and they go out of their way to make sure all students succeed. I was a student at Lakeland Community College and I realized that I was not succeeding in my …
Rude service and hard to navigate website and phone systems. Web pages and courses are difficult to use even for someone who has higher education. If you want to go to a nice community college in Northern Ohio this is not the one.
We were in class and my friend jo su was going ham and the teacher asked if he could read it in French and I thought it was disrespectful tbh. Charles comes in 20 minutes late to a 50 minute class and it snows on mo and mo one time brought …
They played one grade which made me have to retake the dumb class even though it wasent a class for anything. They are not as flexible as you think. Every week it's some new bullshit with them. Teacher are wild. You get what you pay for. And I am going for free so that says how much help they give me
A great school with more amenities than seem apparent. They have a student massage program and a culinary program that satisfy the more than basic needs.
Great lecturers. Excellent library. Love it there. Absolutely.
Beautiful people, beautiful environment my experience has been wonderful.
Great education ....
Great place to walk!
Nice place to learn
