East Central University

My daughter just graduated from here and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a higher education. They offer just about everything here and the staff is wonderful. My other daughter went to a different school for a while and I, myself, didn't like the way they managed things and the staff was like talking to the wall. But here at ECU, it was so different. Everyone, staff included has been great. Thanks for giving her a great education and a tuff, but wonderful experience to go with it.

Love everything about it except they need to pray at the graduation.... This country was built on Christian Values. Every school should still be teaching this....

Trashy, buildings are old and falling apart, biology teacher preaching in the middle of class. Tuition should represent the product..

The people here are great but the school is terrible. The campus is comprised of old buildings and sidewalks. The housing and meal plans seem unfair compared to the quality (overpriced). Seriously, there was mold in my dorm AC and in my shower. I heard from others that this was not uncommon. I don’t think my room was cleaned before I moved in, as there was trash everywhere. There are little to no diet accommodations. The upside was that it’s cheap but they have recently raised the price of housing, meals, and tuition.

The professors are great for the SW program. However be aware about transfer credits. They will say they take it and when they do the graduation audit all their errors come up. Im suppose to graduate in May and they are now telling me the credits they used for substitution were an error and I need to take 2 more classes. Also make sure if you have multiple transcripts make sure they have all be reviewed and uploaded so you wont take classes u already taken! That happened to me as well. That registration and admissions office have no idea what they are doing!

Mostly a great school. There are a ton of amazing professors and administration; the size of the school allows for good personal interaction and guidance from them. Very few offerings of online or afternoon and evening classes for students with jobs.

This is my Alma Mater for my BSN (Nursing) and I loved it! Wonderful faculty and I've met so many friends that I stay in touch with to this day. I am very proud of my degree from here. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Great professors and reasonably cheap tuition. Tons of scholarship and undergraduate research opportunities. Downsides are loud, pot smoking dorm residents and expensive mandatory meal plan if you live on campus.

Very clean Campus... Everyone was super nice and during this whole covid situation I was pleased to see students and staff with their masks on. They also done a great job with signs, floor tape, reminders etc.

In East Central University I improved my ability to learn.I was surrounded by countless opportunities to preach the Gospel of Yah-wey©Yah-Shua and their Holy Roman Catholic Spirit. I didn't get to Harvard, like My Roman Sisters-Marsha Smith Leave and Sister Debbie June Zellner+ May the Peace of Yah-Shua And yah-wey be with you All. Selah.

Beautiful scenery, multiple degree programs, professors that are typically willing to work with you (as they understand there is life outside of school), and overall a great school to attend.

Moving my daughter in today. Didn't have to carry 1 thing up to her room. ECU had it all planned out very well.

Oldest daughter has called ECU her winter home for 3 going on 4 years now. Nice quiet campus.

Very diverse university. Most are friendly and the level of education is really high quality. Most degrees are Nationally recognized and certified.

East Central University is a great College has a lot to offer to anyone who like to get a great education & a degree it is a Four College

Their decision to remove the Boswell Chapel steeple cross & Bibles inside (all donated by Catherine Boswell 61yrs ago), IS JUST DESPICABLE. They shud reverse their decision.

Good university and has improved a lot since I graduated.
