These are the chairs they still use for their students from 1980’s. They go back when you lay back and for a tall guy like me who’s over 6 foot I try to stand up and tall so my posture is good but it automatically keeps on laying down and the desk is to tiny it can barely fit a laptop but forget hooking up a mouse to it. This is Bellevue, where bill gates lives and Jeff bezos. They can afford better tables and chairs to sit in that are more comfortable. Heck even my high school had bigger tables/chairs! And my high school is Newport high it’s 5 minutes away from this college. Get it together

Terrible, underwhelming institution. I took a philosophy course here, ethics of criminal justice. Turned out to be a hybrid class criminal justice/philosophy. Okay that's fine, except not one philosopher was talked about, not one ethical or philosophical principle was taught. Instead we regularly watched HBO's "The Wire" and John Oliver's crappy late night show. This is the kind of place the "college is a scam" people are talking about. I'm furious I wasted my GI bill on this garbage, they even tried to send me a bill for tuition despite me using veterans benefits, do yourself a favor and earn a degree somewhere else

DO NOT GO HERE. I was supposed to be in a 1.5 year program, I've been here for 3 years. I've been trying to get certified in phlebotomy and clinical lab. I was an hour late to registration, and thanks to how terribly they run courses, the final series of classes (program with ~60 students) had 14 seats, all filled, plus the waitlist. And I had to wait 6 whole months to try again. Got into the class, and submitted a vaccine record late, and had to wait another 6 months for for the privilege of paying $4k for doing 160 hours of unpaid work ("At BC, we work really hard to accommodate people with families/ disabilities/ work outside of school!") I was supposed to take my LAST clinical lab course before finishing my certification, but not enough people enrolled, so RIGHT at the end of finishing my cert, they were like, sorry! We'll try to patch your credits into some other certification!! Or, yknow, you could wait 6 months (if we have the class then). Go here if you hate yourself

Overall not a bad place to get your education imo, genuinely good teachers and classes for the price. However the recent discovery of the dead body on campus, and naming it as "not a threat to the community" after it being there rotting for weeks is not acceptable. People go to school in the summer, the body was found on a main road. That's a threat to safety. There has been growing safety concerns on bc campus for a few years, Of course there's only so much staff can do to respond to and prevent tragic incidents, however this is definitely an example of an inappropriate way to handle such an incident.

Education and management at its worst!!! Where do I begin. My advice is DO NOT send your students here, if you like them and want them to have a decent education and the mentorship of moral and ethical adults. Every area of this organization is rigged with illegal activity - from the way fees are assigned to the running of the Housing program. I ended up quitting my classes due to stress from living in the housing and from being monitored both on and off campus. Cameras and monitoring devices were placed in my bedroom, bathroom and the common areas in my campus apartment. As if that was not enough - students who worked for the housing were assigned to trail me, harass and bully me. If you question inconsistencies and illegal activity, the pressure increases. If you question line items in bills, you get no response. Teachers and staff are allowed to target you and set up class monitoring thru Zoom or other sophisticated classroom surveillance. When you join an online meeting, you could be "muted", without any explanation if they dont like you or think you ask too many questions. Why is this a learning institution? It should really be a school of espionage and wizardry. Pictures show my attempt to maintain my privacy in several rooms. I complained, nothing was done, in fact there was even a fake fire alarm to allow access to my unit for their illegal activity. Dont bother calling the campus police! they are paid to support the wickedness on this campus. Please stay away!!!!

SO many issues with the financial aid/student financial services departments. They make the most asinine mistakes when it comes to student accounts. You have to constantly reach out to get them to fix these mistakes that should have never occurred in the first place and it’s a nightmare trying to get anyone on the phone or to answer calls. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such incompetence from college employees in my experience with any other school. Who is running this department and why aren’t you doing your job?

Financial Aid Department is a mess trying to reach them and trying to get any hope from them is a joke. The professors here most of them are nice but some of them disappear for days at a time and randomly too without saying much or they go on a surprise vacation mid semester when we need them to get help for classes. The campus most of it is old and grimey. They are doing major remodeling at the moment so this might of change but as of 2025 some of the bathrooms are from the 1980’s and the inside of some of these buildings stinks like old and stuffy air. Getting help here is kinda hard. Also in this economy I’m starting to hear and see that a college degree doesn’t hold as much power anymore and is getting more and more useless as people straight out of college are not finding jobs anymore even with internships. So if you’re paying for this out of pocket I wouldn’t recommend it.

Really amazing community College. The teachers are great. There is a large variety of classes. The campus is modern, well furnished, and clean. The college has a lot of running start students (highschoolers in college). I've found it totally possible make friends here. The college has an event or two a month with free food which is quite good. Something to keep in mind is that people don't really review schools on Google unless they are mad, almost every I've met at BC is really happy and satisfied here, so don't get discouraged. I think this may be the best and least depressing community campus in the state!

Very poorly run. They don’t answer phone calls. You have to enroll yourself in classes. Only have one advisor for my department, and couldn’t get my classes on time because they were on vacation, with no further assistance of who to contact. It’s clear they don’t care about the education of their students. Unfortunate because it’s only of the only schools that offer the program that I need in my area.

One of the worst schools in the state. Programs are a money grab. Instructors can not be present for classes or grade assignments until the end of the quarter and nothing is done about it. They do not help secure internships or connections to jobs. They just tell you to cold call/email companies but if you don't secure something by week 8 you'll have to retake the class.
