Yes, it is a commuter school and has no campus life but this university was perfect for my learning style. Small class sizes with flexible times (I worked full time while in school) and dedicated professors. I have had incredible job opportunities after graduating.

05/28/23: I was a former student here and I would say UWB has a diversity of student races, smaller classes with the same or higher quality compared to bigger ones, and experienced faculties. The campus is clean, great, and environmentally attractive in many ways. It does lack some cafeteria selections but it has some great programs to start your careers. I am proud to be a student here and highly suggest anyone considering this uni as a milestone in your academia life

My experience at this university has been quite disappointing. I've felt very isolated due to the lack of a social scene and limited opportunities to connect with others. The campus environment is dull and uninspiring, with very few engaging activities or events. There's not much to do around campus, which adds to the overall sense of boredom and detachment. The atmosphere often feels sad and unwelcoming, and I’ve struggled to find a sense of community here. Additionally, I’ve encountered issues with some of the academic programs not being properly accredited or up to standard, which is concerning. Overall, my time here has been far from what I had hoped for.For these reasons, I’ve made the decision to transfer to a university that better aligns with my academic goals and personal well-being.

It's a really nice campus, but be aware it's dangerous and right next to two freeway ramps. I've had people take items from my car, including note books, drives, SD cards, electronics. They even return them as a form of gaslighting or after modifying them. Also if you fall asleep in your car at the school, the attackers use some kind of gas or aerosols through the AC and/or windows to incapacitate their victims before breaking in and going through their belongings. Be careful. They appear to be very well versed and organized in breaking into cars. They've done several kinds of attacks, including relay attacks. They also stalk their victims through the area and possibly beyond to access their belongings, so they are likely well embedded in the area, if not the region. They are very aware of people's patterns at the school, whomever they are. The designers could have done some better decisions to make it less easy to get to the freeway. Otherwise it's next to some decent trails, other than being a stones throw away from the freeways. The campus is nice, and the staff are personable and friendly.

We and the dogs were touring the campus on July 1st. It was very quiet and we had an enjoyable afternoon walk. There were more cyclists than people walking when we got to the campus. There was plenty of parking (Pay by Phone app). We paid $4 for 12 hours parking, pretty reasonable.

If you want to grow and not waste your time, don’t come to this university.

Former student in CS if you are a fan of gambling then this school is for you. choosing classes is flipping a coin based on your proffesor you might be either suffering the entire quarter with bad grades and long assingments or you might have classes where you don't have to show up and still get a 4.0. you might think that rate my proffesor will help you choose classes but it doens't even matter because there is random graders in the classes who randomly decide to give you a bad grade and then you have to spend half of the quarter trying to reach them for a regrade. Honestly should have chosen wazu cause at least there you know the school doens't care from the very beggining

Currently attending here majoring in Psychology and I love it. Professors are engaging and the smaller class sizes really keep students involved in conversations.

Academic here is OK, but the office of Registrar/admissions don’t know what they are doing, and some of staffs seem not familiar with university policy. I always have a hard time to register classes. When I transferred in, they did not enter any of my previous transfer credits. Because of that, the UW system placed me into class of freshman and earned zero credits. This delayed my registration date, and I might not get into classes I want to take. When I emailed them about questions, it looks like they answer everything in the world but besides what I am asking about, and refused to address issues. But thankfully, my academic advisor is knowledgeable and respond email on time, and register me manually into the class, otherwise, I can’t imagine what will happen. Probably stay one more year, because a lot of classes here only offer once a year. And also their diploma takes 3-4 months to process and mail, and they said no ways to expedite. Typically, it takes 4-6 weeks to process diploma for other universities, but 3-4 months is way too long.

The campus is till expanding as they are building dorms for the students to live in. They also share the campus with a community college. Though the campus is small compared to other campuses, the staff members are sweet and always look forward to help others.

Was a good college, but now has fallen from grace. There is 0 electives that don’t get filled instantly, half the “in-person” classes are online, which they only tell you the day of. And, even with the lack of resources compared to the main campus they still charge you the same.

Computer Science degree could be better and does waste some of your time. But it's not like it's terrible, it's still good depending on what professors you get. Classes also are generally smaller (30-60) which you may not get at bigger …

I was only here to attend a seminar and this facility is very good and parking is great in the evening. I've never been here during the day when classes are happening.

From someone who attended the main Seattle Campus and UWB, I enjoyed the smaller class sizes, the relationships with my professors (who all had a PhD), and the community of students. Business program was great! Parking is still tough. Arrive 20 min before class at a minimum to park.

Their COVID restrictions do nothing to protect the safety and wellbeing of students—don’t kid yourself they are making the minimum effort possible. Wearing a mask is allegedly required? I see faculty making no effort to enforce this and …

It’s an amazing college with limited number of students which makes college interesting, gives a lot of opportunities and attention to individual students. Make sure to participate in different clubs, since there are more than 50. Peaceful campus with great accessibility.

There are so many benefits to going to a satellite campus of UW, smaller class sizes, more opportunities, etc. The main issue with this campus is access to food. As a student you're likely there much of the day and unfortunately the only …

UW Bothell has a much smaller footprint than the Seattle campus and sharing space with Cascadia College. This does not make it less desirable though. It is in fact a huge advantage for students to have a more intimate educational …
