Troy University - Montgomery Campus

I love my time with Troy University. The University and some of the instructors was awesome. However I had one teacher that retaliated against me. Dr. Matuski. It has affected me in many ways. I very seldom acknowledge I'm a Troy Alumni. Troy University allows a teacher years ago to retaliate against my grades. In the masters program you have to have a B average. This teacher wanted to after finals to post my grades for my weekly assignment. Later after making a 100 on the final the instructor gave me a 79.8. I went in spoke to her and in the recording she started she believe I had help. She believ proctorU did not do their job. She was going to request for the testing footage. Then, then had the nerve to ask a test question. If she felt that way she should had tried to reach me within the term. I had contacted her several times and my calls and messages was ignored, so I left work early to had an unannounced meeting. I reach someone in Troy University in Troy, scheduled a meeting where someone else sat in the meeting let them here the recording (Alabama is one party consent). He acknowledge that wasn't right and advised he would to it to a panel I believe. When I call him around two later he stated it wasn't nothing he can do. Because of this I lost financial assistance because it brought my GPA down. I had to take another class and pay out of pocket. I did complete paying before graduation. I also had a issue with my intent to graduate. I spoken to Jim Smith in Troy Montgomery about my complaint. I mentioned I might go to the news or use other outlets. I also have a recording of that as well. I recording it because I felt they would believe their professors more and i needed to prove proof. He advise me if I do go to them he will let me walk. I felt like Troy University allowed this. Other students may have went through something similar.

Beautiful campus. It is across the street from the Rosa Parks Museum. It is also in walking distance to Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center.

This campus has the worst professors for their nursing program and they will not do anything about the bad evaluations given by the nursing students about these professors. If you like being talked down to, berated and belittled in front of other students then this is the nursing program for you! The professor did this to MULTIPLE students who were confused about a schedule the professor posted. She said "You're not confused, you just can't read. How do you expect to become a nurse if you can't read?" and then is irritated at the students when they are upset about the way she talks to them. WHO TALKS TO PEOPLE LIKE THAT?!! TROY NEEDS TO GET BETTER NURSING PROFESSORS.

This is a great school . I have enjoyed my two years here as a student and I look forward to my next two years until I graduate . I recommend Troy university to anyone.
