On the drive back home from a mission trip in the mountains along I-85 West, I detoured onto Alabama State Highway 80 into Tuskeegee. I had heard about this historic city and its university all my life via history books and stories taught in high school. It was worth the 2-hour stop along the way to see the awesome Tuskeegee University campus. It's more descriptive in natural beauty. Splendid, peaceful, gorgeous, esteemed in academia, steeped in history. One of the most beautiful small university campuses in the United States. I would be honored to work there and earn a degree as well.

The exquisite #architectural design of the buildings on #TuskegeeUniversity are amazing. On the day of my visit, several buildings were offline due to maintenance backlog...But with a vigorous plan, this school will rebound because of its #historic founding fathers and civic partners.

Seems like a great school. Wouldn't know because they are terrible at communicating with students. No one in any department is ever available to answer the phone, and if you leave a message they will never get back to you. The few times I could get a response they were short with me. Website is never updated and they make no attempt to contact new students or give necessary information, like registration and scholarship deadlines. And this is after you pay $410 to enroll. Maybe next time
