SJVC's Visalia campus opened in 1977 and is the flagship campus for SJVC. SJVC Visalia offers several accelerated programs for students interested in the medical, dental, business, criminal justice, trades or industrial fields. These programs include Clinical Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, Pharmacy Technology, Dental Hygiene, Medical Office Administration, Registered Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Vocational Nursing, and Business Office Administration. Our trades & industrial programs include HVAC-R and Maintenance Technician. SJVC/Carrington College promised hands-on learning, but only delivered two days of in-person classes, which is not hands-on at all! I'm extremely disappointed that they baited us with promises of hands-on experience, then pulled the rug out from under us. Why are we paying so much for hands-on learning when we're stuck at home half the time? At least reduce the tuition to reflect the actual learning experience!

Is so sad to read great stories of the SJVC COLLEGE when my daughter is still sitting here at home with no placement we have gone to the office four times. Talked to counselors. Talk to the lady who help us at the beginning and still not placement for my daughter. She finished with good her grade. tired of going and speak to someone and the solution has been resolved at this point not going back and speak to someone trying to find a lawyer to help me now near my husband, I really disappointed and sad to see my daughter, this disappointment, cause she says that probably she was not good and the thing why they don’t care

Great experience so far. I’ve almost finished my first semester. Faculty are responsive and helpful and readily available. Courses are interactive and engaging making learning easy. I’m able to complete course assignments on time even while working g full time.

The Medical Billing and Coding program was a great program. I felt I learned a lot in the little over a year I took me to complete my associates degree. The teachers and all the staff are very helpful especially when you have a very real emergency come up and you just need a little more time getting things in. I recommend this and all of their program to any stay home moms looking to still get their education and be at home with their littles.
