Harvey Mudd is a smaller version of CalTech, if you can imagine such a thing, and without graduate students. It is an extremely selective liberal arts college that specializes in STEM. Engineering and computer science are the most popular majors, but physics and mathematics are extremely strong. Most students live on campus their entire four years. The location is particularly beautiful, and you're part of the larger group of prestigious Claremont Colleges. What's important to remember about Harvey Mudd is that it's a liberal arts college, so there are distribution requirements in humanities and social science in addition to the feature courses in STEM.
One of the best colleges for science, engineering & computer science.
I don't like driving by here when I'm doing my deliveries. For one, the generation likes to instigate and put prejudices on people. I drive so much I get exposed to alot of people and experiences. The weird looks and funny stares mean nothing to me and I just want to let people know that I will never go to college here.
I'm a freshman in High School at the moment, but i think i would like to go here in the future. This place seams very nice, but i would just have to save up lots of money and do more research. The research I have done I would say this place is great and I will probably apply when I'm older 😄 …
Colleges are probably one of the best around. I go there for the food. The public is not allowed unless you or family member works there.
👍 …
I find it mildly hilarious rating the place I lived at for slightly over 4 years in the same way I would rate, say, a restaurant I visited once. So I did. I miss this place. I don't miss the constant feeling of homework, but I certainly miss the place itself. :p Oddly enough, speaking of food, the Muddhole still has some of the best sandwiches I've had. I miss the half-turkey-half-salami footlongs... especially paying for them with my parents' money...
Love the new hoch Shanahan buildings. Dorms are a little old but it's a nice campus. Produces good students.
Pretty awesome place , beautiful people and great 👍 vibes I am just here to charge my phone cause my work had so zero electricity so if you seen some guy with head lamp / and heard me sing al green or something I love to sing aloud and alone great place to do so Wish I could go here .. …
If there is a better place for a bright young student to go for their BS in a STEM field, I've not yet found that school.
