Campus was clean and welcoming. Plenty of parking for students and visitors. The staff is very friendly and very helpful regarding all needs. The inside of the campus is clean and need. Plenty of signs for assisting in where to go. Entry kiosks are great and easy for students to navigate.
My experience with the staff at HCC Northeast Campus has been exceptional. In particular, I would like to recognize Octavia Weaver, CEU Records Specialist in Student Services, who went above and beyond in assisting me with understanding the complexities of financial aid. Each time I reached out to her, I was met with a warm smile and a genuine willingness to help. Her professionalism, patience, and positive attitude made a significant difference in my experience. Octavia is truly an asset to Houston Community College, and her dedication and excellence are evident in every interaction.
This is great campus and there are very good environment for students. Great infrastructure campus.
Had the pleasure of attending Captain Spanns fire academy and Captain Grissoms EMT class. Both were phenomenal instructors I would definitely recommend this campus
Very nice staff to helping student service
I really don’t know what to say about this campus..they have some great staff and they have some front desk that could be more helpful.
The staff is so rude!! I went there because my sister wanted to get some information. Firstly, I'm not sure why do they wanted my sister's social security just to give us information. Also, why does she need to register to get information regarding the careers that the college offered. It's so stupid! I've never seen such a horrible treatment to freshman in my 4 years of college!
Received my CDL license! Great weekend crew it was a challenge but the instructors helped out and took their time. Mr. Shutter cannot thank you enough. And Mr. Hayes, and Roger! Great instructors, plenty equipment and trucks. 👍 …
Great professors and decent location. But during tropical depression Imelda, they did not close the campus. It floods terribly in the area. I was stranded for 8 hours in a bad area, lost study/homework time, and my car now has water damage. Now I am struggling due to their negligence.
The staff here is not very welcoming. They can come off as rude and most of the times they do not answer the questions that you have. I only had a good experience with an adviser here at this location. The ladies working for student services is the reason why I am choosing to write a review. I've called multiple times and on different occasions regarding courses, dropping courses, and other basic information they should be aware of and 9/10 they have told me to look online or have put me on hold for a few minutes then hung up. I find this extremely unprofessional and rude. They either have no clue or are just lazy to actually do their work. I am really upset the courses I need cannot be taken at Lonestar because of transferring purposes. This campus needs new friendly staff who is willing to help students.
Awful service. Kept getting transferred from person to person, stayed on hold for about an hour only for the call to drop, called them back numerous times just to be hung up on. Don't ask anyone for help there or ANY HCC campuses, they …
I can truly say that I am very impressed with the learning process at HCC trucking. My instructor Mr. Hayes is amazing and professional and fun at the same time, he teaches well. Mr.Don I don't work with him much but the one time I had an …
Tried to help a friend begin the EMS Program but the laundry list of things he did before the start of class STILL wasn’t enough. Communication is poor between potential students. They weren’t answering their …
This institution is an excellent baby step/stepping stone for anyone trying to get their feet wet into college. The classes are affordable.. Roughly 250 bones per class and the facilities were always clean. The instructors were subject …
I didn't visit the actual college, I went for covid testing. So, my remarks aren't for HCC. I will say that the "entrance" for the testing line was poorly marked, yet, the exit was largely and clearly marked. I approached from the side …
Took the EMS program there and it was awesome. Very challenging but Dean is a good instructor and is willing to take the time out to teach and listen so that you can go out into the field and know what you are doing.
Counselors I have dealt with at this campus have had attitudes right off the bat and they do not offer any guidance. Watch one counsel laughing while on the phone with a student because they was trying to get a good understanding of switching degree plans.
very great campus, But my car was destroyed by some awfull people they hit it and they didn't even let information. the police couldn't help since there's no camera. now as a student who has a limited income cannot fix my car which is frustrating since all my classes are 29 miles from home.
Steve is the BEST instructor I've ever met. This man knows his stuff with trucking. Fast forward today and I’m still doing what I love because of Steve. Everything I do is because I learned it from him…
Horrible equipment Horrible administration They overbook for the money and don't have enough instructors or trucks …
