I recently visited UC San Diego and was truly impressed by the campus’s modern design, coastal beauty, and welcoming atmosphere. Nestled near the Pacific Ocean, the university offers a peaceful yet stimulating environment perfect for learning and exploration. I spoke with several students who shared how much they appreciated the supportive faculty and the strong emphasis on research and innovation. The diverse range of academic programs and interdisciplinary opportunities stood out as a major strength. Walking through the campus, I also noticed a strong sense of community and collaboration among students. Overall, my visit to UCSD gave me a deep appreciation for its academic excellence and vibrant, forward-thinking culture.

Proud to get my MS and BS in CS here. Food on campus is terrible. Prices are too high. Rents are high. Parking is awful. But I love the faculty and peers. Neither best nor worst memories in life. Moving on.

We came to visit. Ali, she was our tour guide. Fantastic, she gave us a good tour and answered all our questions. I am sure she is a success and will have great future. University is amazing 7.5 times bigger than Disney land and library has 5 billion, plus books. We loved it. Came back for parents day. Informative.

UCSD is a really beautiful campus set on the hills in La Jolla, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. I’m serious, it’s amazing !The professors really do care about reaching each student and giving them the knowledge needed to be successful but the real feather in the UCSD cap is the RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES EVEN FOR FRESHMAN STUDENTS ! Great school, dedicated profs, Gorgeous campus, amazing diverse restaurants on campus, smart hardworking students and fabulous research opportunities. What more can you ask from a university ?? This place is Awesome.

A wonderful environment to spend a day, even if you are not a student at UCSD. There is incredible architecture all around (hop on a campus tour if one is leaving soon). There are plenty of places to lounge around - indoor or outdoor. Make sure you visit Geisel library, great building and you want a pic with Dr. Seuss. Relive your youth here. :)

It is no doubt to give five stars to UC San Diego. Big space, well infrastructure, and new construction going to host students on campus. Highly professional teachers and administrative staffs are the keys to the choice of matter.

They have a decent track and field facility with portable toilets but I hated the parking situation. It was either the distant Hopkins parking structure, which was near a construction site and had an entrance blocked off, or the closer curb parking between the facility and tennis courts, which were marked but a machine for the parking permit couldn't be found. After some unnecessary anxiety, other athletes said to pay on ParkMobile or risk finding the car towed. The app was easy when searching for my location and paying but it was confusing when I had to enter it twice since the first time didn't provide a receipt. The event I attended said there was a discount through the app and to park in B, S, or D marked stalls but the app said it was not available for those stalls and the discount didn't work . So, $9 for 4 hours.

Class of 98 here and i recently revisited the campus and oh boy! Things have changed! I could barely recognise the buildings and surrounding area. If i could do it all over again, UCSD would be among my top picks. With all the rankings coming out year over year, i see my Alma mater improve. My wish is that current and prospective students get what they are looking for. It might not have all the glamour of LA, but it has its charm. SD is still a beautiful city and i do remember that it was like "white pages" at times, but now i'd take that over big city vibes. Keep on shining Tritons!

Ranked 53rd worldwide and 19th in USA ( QS Ranking 2023) with 41,000 students and 3800 faculty head count, and 34% admission Acceptance rate, UCSD is a research university in San Diego with modern Campus/ Buildings. The library is beautiful with innovative sitting. The tuition fee is high for out of California/ international students. Felt dissatisfaction among students for not finding value for the high fees they pay.

Superb team of medical professionals at UCSD! The place is like a well-oiled machine and it's amazing how many people come and go each day to receive health care and maintain a high level of care for each individual.
