I applied as a resident of Colorado and was accepted. However they changed me to a non-resident due to my ID being out of state. I have lived and paid taxes here for 4 years. They did not notify me of the change in residency status - I found out when I got the bill that was 2X larger than expected and at that point it was past the date for petitioning for residency. They claim it is because of state legislation, however I attended Pikes Peak State College as a resident for 2 years before transferring. I edited this from a 1 star to a 3 star because they did end up changing my residency status after telling me they couldn't change it, but again- I wasn't notified of the change so I could approve my COF to be used towards tuition. I appreciate the change, but part of the issue is lack of communication.

I have had nothing but negative experiences at this college. The superiors are childish and can't handle a hard conversation. The only one on campus that has tried to help in anyway is Brock Kilagore. You're better off obtaining your degree from a cereal box. Please trust me when I say this, run elsewhere, anything is better than this place.

Went to watch my niece receive her BS. The highlight was the guest speaker. So we listened (what felt like an hour) to the him talking about himself, himself and husband, being triggered by a bumper sticker in Texas, bashing the 93% of the world without a degree. What an insufferable person! The speaker? The last University President. Congrats to the class of 2025

Theres a massive bullying issue with both staff and students not only that but they have a $15,000 burrito budget with zero decent testing staff anymore.

Very nice layout of campus when first coming to go to administration's office. Use Troy exit under the highway. Take 1st left, then continue right untill the 2 way stop ( you have yeld) for you and turn left then straight back. At the "t" go right, follow the left and up into the parking area for the visitors. WELCOME!

Overall the buildings are good and the school grounds are maintained. However, a lot of professors passively and directly push politics in classes that don't pertain to politics. Lastly they will charge a lot of mandatory fees for students that i feel like are not needed while also charging $100 for a parking permit so you have the privilege to park on the campus you are already giving 6 grand a semester for.

I graduated from here in 2017. It was a nice place back then and I enjoyed my studies, athletics and campus life. Since 2017 however, it has changed immensely and has become a premier D2 campus. It has a multi-million dollar athletic training center. A brand new student center and a much more modernized campus. This place is great for anyone. The location is awesome because you are far enough from the big cities you don't deal with the traffic but close to the mountains you can spend the whole day there and only a small amount of it being driving. If you are looking a for nice, friendly campus with great programs and very interesting classes and knowledgeable professors but don't want to break the bank. CSU-Pueblo it is. Ahwooo!
