I've been going here almost 5 years and I ultimately cannot recommend it. The education is ok but they won't hesitate to nickel and dime you over petty technicalities. This is my experience while participating in their MBA program. Needless to say, I won't be speaking favorably about this school and won't be making any future donations.
I love my children's school. I have a great history of Love and honor and respect for all the teachers and staff. Over 15 years And I thank them every day for giving excellent education to all students.
We have a child in the Art School at UHart and have had a great experience so far. They have been great at communicating to us and being responsive. We love the food, campus and faculty. Love the smaller size of the school and the way the housing is close to the cafe and the classes. The art school and Hartt school are both amazing!
A nice school to attend. Good education, and a fairly scenic campus. Be sure to look for the resident geese and hawks. Close to area amenities, with a pretty vibrant student life. This is the only university in the US to have a river bisect the campus. It is a very pleasant river to watch from one of the three bridge crossings. A big, brand-new building just opened up (Fall '21) which is very interesting and sure to spark conversations.
Wonderful university. Great opportunities and experiences for our daughter. Doing their best under these difficult and abnormal times to bring our kids together. It’s been a tough Freshman year however to socialize and meet new people.
A diploma mill for international students. Blatant cheating by students is covered up. Professor powerless to reprimand the student for blatant cheating, student complains, professor gets in trouble over potential for lost $$$. Tuition costs waaay too much. Absolutely not a good choice for an engineering program if you want to be employed. OK for audio related "engineering" I guess.
Very pretty campus, very walkable. Lots of parking. Been back a few times since our first visit. This is a really nice campus to visit.
I'm coming to this school from a small town in northern Illinois so I'm very nervous about moving kinda far. But when I came to this school for a tour, I felt a lot less nervous by the welcoming students and staff and the size of the campus. It's not big and overwhelming. If you're someone who gets overwhelmed by a big campus then this school is for YOU. It's a very small and niche campus. A lot of these reviews are making me feel very bad for choosing this school, but as someone who didn't really have enough money to pay for application fees, this school definitely helped with their free application fees and all of the financial aid they have given me! Their bookstore is amazing too and I got so much merch. I am terribly sorry for all of the stories with bad administration and racism. Those stories are truly terrible and I HOPE that not everyone at the schools is like that! I am so excited to be a part of this school next year! #UHartBound
This school does not at all care about its students, especially those who are middle class and don't rely on mommy and daddy to pay for everything. They will take your money and screw you over, not caring that they have literally ruined your life. I cant tell you how many working class people this school has destroyed because of the price and then refusing to give them the degree because of some B.S. they don't care how they ruin the lives of already struggling people because they never think about them again. If you are smart but poor, DO NOT go to this school. They will clock you and kick you out. They hate poor people
Great college, and a top 5 business school.
