As parents of an applicant, we just toured the campus and are impressed. The grounds and buildings appear to be well kept, the common areas are quiet/serene, and every student/employee/parent we encountered was pleasant/extremely helpful. I would like to mention the following people, as they stood out: Police officer/Campus police -Assisted with building location when GPS failed Campus Security/Parking Permit -Patient Student Center Cafeteria Staff -Provided a multitude of information/help with Smiles! I left with the feeling that, should my son be accepted, he would be well treated and supported as a member of the student body.
I am writing this on behalf of my cousin, who was a dedicated student at Clayton State University and was on track to graduate in December 2024. Unfortunately, their academic journey was abruptly derailed by a deeply disappointing and unfair experience. My cousin was accused of academic dishonesty, a claim that was later reviewed through available video footage and found to have no supporting evidence. Despite this, the university failed to correct the situation or take any meaningful action to help. Instead, they seemed to brush it off entirely, showing no concern for the truth or for the lasting impact this would have on a student’s future. Throughout their time at Clayton, my cousin had no prior disciplinary issues and maintained a strong academic record. They deserved a fair and transparent process. Instead, they were met with silence, indifference, and a complete lack of accountability from the institution. This failure in due process has caused my cousin emotional distress, lost opportunities, and a deep sense of discouragement and depression. Clayton State University should be truly ashamed of how they handled this matter. Students deserve to be treated with respect, fairness, and dignity, especially when their future is at stake.
Fayette campus doesn’t have a computer to use for students even in emergencies. Fayette also has a broken intercom at the front; this campus was not set up professionally. During a family emergency I tried to seek help at this campus to prevent missing deadlines.
Very well kept University. I didn't know it existed until a friend invited me there.. I met the Military Recruit Sargent there. Great experience 👌🥰 …
Useless bursar office staff and finance they seem like they don’t care about their job or the students.
I had an advisor who failed me. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and I was almost finished with my degree. I wasn't aware I could have received accommodations. I ended up getting overwhelmed and dropping all my classes last min even tho I was passing. I wasn't well and in a stressful home environment. I told her this but she just treated me like I was entitled. There are some amazing professors here.
Stayed in the Freshmen dorm for a conference. I forgot how small a dorm room was. But it was very clean.
Clayton State has a great environment for a young adult to be properly trained for the battles of the adult world. The professors do a great job of making sure that the students have the proper knowledge to succeed. The limited class size allows the teacher to dedicate more time to the students who need extra assistance to ensure no student is left behind academically. This style of teaching helps to minimize the anxiety that comes along with being afraid to ask for help. The professor are firm on deadlines, so this develops the skills to be hard working, plan oriented, dedicated, and accountable. The students are kind and belong to one another. They understand that everyone is here for a particular purpose, and are willing to produce positive and supportive relationships to ensure that everyone makes it to their goals. This college comes highly recommended from Antonio Clay
