That stadium is the absolute worst to try to get around in and it didn't help the the people in the "yellow" jackets were less than helpful. The biggest concert ever and they didn't have enough staff and the ones there were new and couldn't help. So many people were lost and had a hard time finding gates to enter and seats.

This public institute of technology is a comprehensive university, with academic programs in engineering, sciences, computer science, business, architecture, and liberal arts. It's not just an engineering college anymore, and hasn't been for decades. It's a large institution with about 20,000 undergraduates and 20,000 graduate students engaged in an exceptionally rigorous academic mission. The campus itself is mostly a collection of nondescript modern buildings, but the historic core (which is on the National Register of Historic Places) is a park-like oasis. The school has a large and thriving athletic program, and also includes many on-campus artistic and cultural activities. If you're interested in being a student, or you're just looking for a leisurely stroll, give this busy campus a visit.

Located in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia Tech provides unique opportunities for companies, governments, and students. All of the competitions and assignments are pushing technology forward, training some of the brightest engineers. World-class amenities such as an Olympic-sized fitness center and newly renovated library. Classes keep running with high quality instruction on ever-changing technical subjects.

I hate Georgia Tech Parking Department. They are insane!!!!!! I paid for the parking and they said my parking is not registered!!! My colleagues all saw this situation and they also alll agree that Georgia Tech parking department is crazy! The problem is that it is not the first time that I am suffering from! Seriously I will think of reporting this to the head of Georgia Tech.

Daughter attends GA Tech and she loves it! She spends a lot of time studying in the library as the curriculum is very rigorous. The campus is always clean, and we feel safe every time we visit even though the campus sits in Atlanta. If you are instate you should definitely visit to see if it is a good fit for your child.

Move in is well organized. Lots of freshmen moving in with help from parents and most organized help to get freshmen moving in to their dorm allotted.

Georgia Tech has been an important part of my growth as a student deeply passionate about AI, robotics, and embedded systems. Its strong focus on practical innovation and engineering excellence provides an environment ideal for hands-on exploration of advanced technologies, from AI applications to smart devices. The research opportunities and technical depth are impressive, enabling students like me to actively prototype and build impactful projects. While the peer culture differs from MIT’s intense, startup-oriented community, Georgia Tech still offers meaningful connections with driven individuals, though it requires intentional effort to find them. Although navigating administrative processes can be cumbersome at times, the overall experience is highly rewarding for ambitious students dedicated to building the future through technology.

Beautiful campus. Had “all you can eat”dinner in one of the student dining halls for ~$18. Also bought a GT-branded bottle as a souvenir.

Georgia Tech was one of the 13 universities I applied to, and I found it to have the least flexibility in its admissions process compared to other schools. This rigidity suggests a lack of adaptability to the evolving needs of applicants and a failure to consider individual backgrounds. Despite the university’s emphasis on fostering a community-oriented environment and valuing its members, my experience did not reflect these values. During an admissions session, a representative named Brandon did not even turn on their camera, which I found unprofessional and disengaging. Additionally, the university showed no flexibility in assessing my language proficiency, despite my undergraduate degree being conducted in English, duolingo English certification, and international experience. While top universities worldwide have adapted to include more accessible language proficiency exams such as Duolingo, Georgia Tech refuses to accept it, limiting applicants to IELTS and TOEFL. This policy not only makes the application process less accessible for students facing financial constraints but also suggests that the university prioritizes supporting businesses that profit from education rather than genuinely facilitating opportunities for a diverse applicant pool. Based on this experience, I would not recommend applying to Georgia Tech. While they promote a culture of care and community, my interactions suggested that these values are more of a marketing tool rather than a genuine commitment to applicants. A truly supportive institution would take a more holistic approach in evaluating candidates and demonstrate the inclusivity they claim to uphold.
