Really beautiful cactus gardens!!! Free parking. Every Saturday till 11am there's a farmers market. Clean bathrooms located in the parking lot. However, no toilet paper today so maybe have some with you.
This is the only way I can say anything about the cactus garden at this school and I feel like people need to know it's there. They have built the most amazing cactus garden that I have ever seen. When I seen this garden from across the street on my way to the diamond head hiking trail I knew I was going to have to stop on my way back. It's truly a beautiful thing to behold some how they took mother nature's most hostile plants and made them into a amazing beautiful place to visit.
Bus #2 & #23 travel East from Waikiki and stop at Diamond Head bus stop, walk across the street, beautiful Cactus Garden along campus.
The cactus garden on campus here, is a must see! Do take the time to stop by on your way to the Diamond Head hiking trails. It's beauty will not disappoint. My husband said it looks like you are on a different planet even, particularly next to the big round cacti patch. 🌵 …
Great view to see the Waikiki diamond head in the restaurant inside of school. Watch for birds coming.
Beautiful campus with amazing views. The artwork is excellent and fun!
Their cactus & succulent garden is the cutest. Very happy to have accidentally stumbled across it while heading back from Diamond Head.
I am a Senior citizen with several Masters Degrees and a world of experience. I can audit classes at KCC, and have taken several undergrad courses in the past two years with various instructors, all highly recommended. You get out of it what you put in, but I never failed to learn a lot in each class I took. The facilities are very good, and the cafeteria is quite good. The Ka'ikena Restaurant has a great view and a learning atmosphere, so we try to get reservations there at least once each semester. A plus is that we don't have to pay for parking and several city buses stop right at the college The teachers are student-centered which must make them crazy sometimes, because a lot of students don't have time to do any studying, or don't buy or read the course resources. This semester I am trying a service learning project. It's a lot of work but I look forward to the experience it provides to learn more about our own community.
It's an absolutely great school wonderful people awesome View the food is excellent the teachers are fantastic the students are the best-looking students I've ever seen in my life anywhere it could all be supermodels most of the teachers are supermodels every classroom has a Jacuzzi one of the largest cannabis distributors she's right there some of the best waves I've ever served at the end or wave machine. Classes are 24 hours a day so they coincide with the casinos. Victoria's Secret training camp is located right next door. Pablo Escobar's nephew teaches a business class hi. Bela Lugosi is giving a lecture this October 31st. Those six Jamaicans from Cool Running can be seen periodically walking around the facility. If three McDonald's on the compound one of them serves exclusively milkshakes. You have to go upstairs to get into the basement. You can see the world's most interesting man parallel parking trains.
Not a military friendly college! If you are a spouse hoping to get into a program or take online classes don't go here. The online courses are NOT fully online! Oh and once you finally get a hold of an advisory or admissions they tell you it's your fault for not contacting the professor before class started to verify the requirements. On top of that, if you are not a resident before applying for nursing program don't bother enrolling at all. Overall, information is not clearly given and ends up being a complete wast of time and money.
