There are variety of eateries from campus to choose from. So many learning spots, I particularly like the business school. There are meditation rooms on campus which is convenient for people of faith. State of the art gym, well stocked libraries, labs. There is accessibility for people who need extra help but more can be done to improve accessibility.
Beautiful campus and the experience is even more beautiful. There are variety of eateries from campus to choose from. So many learning spots, I particularly like the business school. There are meditation rooms on campus which is convenient for people of faith. State of the art gym, well stocked libraries, labs. There is accessibility for people who need extra help but more can be done to improve accessibility. UC is located close to downtown and is also not far from the community libraries. There is so much to say. Just come!
**Review of the campus as a place not of the school as a learning institution** In many ways this is a cool campus with lots of unique architecture packed into a small footprint. The football stadium is the architectural, geographic, and symbolic center of the campus. On the other hand, this seems like a school for cars -- like if Pixar's "Cars" did a prequel where Lightning went to college. The campus is surrounded by massive six-lane roads (that could probably be 4 lanes) with no bike lanes anywhere to be found. You're pretty much always walking next to what seems like a highway. Every other building is a parking garage (maybe it's a big commuter school). The main library is built on top of a giant parking garage. From what they call the "main street" of the campus, you have to walk up many flights of stairs up a hill past a 3-4 story parking garage to get to the main entrance of the library. If you're in a wheelchair, this involves a series of about 20 switchbacks, though it seems like wheelchair users can probably go into the parking garage and take the parking garage elevator up into the library. Once you get there, you'll be told that you're not allowed in the library after 5PM without a university ID, which makes this the first university library I've every been to where the public isn't allowed in. As many of the comments attest, this seems like a good college to go watch football and basketball games at (I'm not saying those are the only things that it's a good college for, just that the campus seems to be sending the message that that's their primary concern).
Attending UC was the best choice I ever made. I met my best friends and wife there, started multiple businesses there, and still own season tickets to football and basketball. I will forever be a bearcat and cannot recommend it enough.
We were working on our project (Our Green Hope) today where we used 3000 reusable bags to make the largest mosaic. The worker at the campus were friendly and supportive. After finishing the project, all the 3K bags were given for FREE at Kroger to encourage people to start using reusable bags instead of plastic grocery bags. Thanks for all the love and support from UC.
Absolutely repulsed to hear about the changes and closings made to the lgbtqia+, African American resource centers, amongst other programs that were shuttered out this last week. Inclusivity is clearly not valued here. To think I almost paid to go here.
They want to promote themselves as a innovative University and pioneers but if you wish to come there with a high-tech latest EV vehicle they do not have any functioning fast chargers and they State they have no plans to fix the one and only one that has been broken for 2 years. If you are looking for a high-tech School I advise look elsewhere.
You college student and education are in great hands here. A wise collegiate decision for anyone wanting to give themselves the best opportunities going forward.
This is a great school. It’s in a fairly big city, but the school is not that big. The business school has already provided so many opportunities for my freshman.
Aside from the fact that UC rushed to the front of the line to abolish DEI and embrace fascism, UC is otherwise subpar. For example, requiring accelerated classes for a particular program wouldn't be so problematic if the professors graded on an accelerated schedule. They don't, though, and the practical effect is that most of a class is finished before the first grades are returned. Advising is a joke. My advisor couldn't seem more bothered to have to deal with students. If you can go elsewhere, don't go to UC.
Honestly, I love them for medical care. Everything in one place, always calm and helpful staff, the doctors really care and you can tell.
Simple easy. Love the experience. Took me straight there. Parking was easy.
From the many times I have been there I can say that this hospital is nice and clean and there is no odor throughout the hospital. The people are nice too.
It was definitely a good time took my son to go see a UC football game it was great
Care was good, but communication was terrible! No surgeon has spoken to us after a 7 hour surgery? They need to improve.
This is an indoctrination center, not a university. They happily and willingly ignore biology and facts to bend to the will of a tiny minority of their students and have zero problems failing straight A students because they refuse to kneel …
They would get 5 stars if they had parking available for outpatients that didn't take 20 mins to find.
It was one of the hardest days of my life. The nurses were great in the ICU
My family member has had world class care in the Neuroscience ICU. From the persons staffing the visitor check in, security, and the excellent nursing and medical teams, we could not have had a better experience! Thank you!
My Mother had minor surgery and she was treated like a Queen 👸🏿 The entire staff was helpful and cheerful 😊....even at 5AM.. Rooms were very clean!! …
