I did their online MBA. Got top marks. Only thing is, they do nothing to assist with job placement. The degree is meaningless. It will have no impact on your career advancement. Don’t waste your time nor money breaking yourself in this program while working full time for years. It’s all for nothing.
Upper university fans did not show good sportsmanship during the dual meet with Maryville, I heard all kinds of things being said to the Maryville wrestlers. Some of the Upper Iowa fans were yelling at the Maryville coach, the referee should have stop the dual and ejected those fans.
Neat campus in a really beautiful setting. Full academic programs and several modern buildings. Staff are friendly and helpful. Campus is well maintained. NCAA DII
This is the best university I have ever studied. The only reason I transfer was because I couldn't be in cold place. If only the area wasn't that cold and I was comfortable being in cold, I swear to god this is where I would go. Friendly people, nice professors, beautiful college, less people and more attention and lot of other benefits. Professor knows you by your name and anytime you need any help, they are there for you. If you have any issue, just call the university and you will be warmly welcomed. I always loved their gym and swimming pool. Good in sports, awesome professors, clean and motivational and inspiring people and also chance of lots of internship. What else would you expect from a university!!
For a smaller college I was surprised at the numerous new buildings and amazing campus grounds! Definitely the big college feel but with a small school focus and education. I also realized that they were very military veteran focused. Excellent!
The education quality is beyond poor. I took a composition class and it was at an 8th grade level at best. The teacher downgraded assignments for "reasons", she was proven wrong and refused to change the grades. I learned absolutely nothing. I then took up my issues with student services and they jerked me around for over a month. Caught the guy in a couple lies about how he was dealing with the issue, talked to his boss and then they jerked me around. It's been going on for almost 4 years of back and forth. They stick to their guns on getting paid and don't do anything to actually get you a real education. If you just want to pay for a degree and do a bunch of busy work this is a good place, but if you actually have a brain or desire to learn anything useful, find something else. This is an over priced degree mill.
very forward thinking school in a lovely location. a state park nearby and lush trees. the school has many new buildings, indoor pool, good cafeteria. all that with over 150 years of history! come check it out.
My student academic advisor, in the online department, was extremely pleasant and helpful. I had several questions on the process of signing up for classes and she went above and beyond to assist me.
Great school. Small which was a plus for me. Studied Conservation management for 2 years here.
An amazing college that has many locations around the US and even other countries. I recently visited the campus in Fayette, IA and it is amazing. I highly recommend this school.
