As a 2020 graduate of Fox the program laid a great foundation for me. I always knew I wanted to pursue to become an OTR, but I had a different journey. The teachers at Fox were caring, firm, and made sure that we actually understood the information which helped me so much in both my Masters and Doctoral programs. I still have relationships with some of the professors to this day based on the amazing, genuine relationships they take the time to build with their students along the journey.
I attended Fox Collage’s OTA program class of 2024. The program is well laid out and covers a lot of pertinent information so that you are well prepared as a new clinician. The instructors are wonderful and they each have their own niche and expertise which is helpful when you need the answers to certain questions. They also offer help and are invested in your success wholeheartedly! The classes were small in size that gave a very family feeling which made it easier to come back everyday! With that being said the program itself is very intense 16 month program there is no breaks all gas! Some topics you only cover a couple of days and on to the next thing. The grading scale is higher so you have to work extremely hard to stay a float! There is always an assignment, papers or test due! Your social life will be nonexistent! I would recommend this program to younger people coming right out of high school or people with a good support system! I recommend finding jobs like Uber, Amazon, etc that are flexible because there is no time to work a real job and that becomes frustrating because life still goes on. I also recommend saving money before hand because there will be out of pocket costs you will need to cover. The entire staff at Fox is wonderful and will help if you reach out. Overall I really did enjoy my time at Fox and making long term friendships and relationships with my classmates and instructors.
AMAZING OTA Program!!! The professors are GREAT at what they do!!! The program offers you all the resources you’ll need to be successful in your career. I really enjoyed my experience at Fox College, met a lot of great people that I hope to work close by in my future. Everyone on campus is friendly & resourceful. So excited for the learning opportunities, opened my eyes to being apart of something bigger. 10/10 OTA Program !!!
when you tour, they tell you exactly what you need to hear & it’s different for everybody. It’s a shame because a lot of students end up hating the career over this greedy program. They don’t offer support & don’t care to drop the minority students.
Good idea if you have no other obligations in life. If you are an adult who is not supported by someone, I would not go to this school. It is for young adults who do not need to work and make money. It is full time, plus homework at night and over most Saturday's and Sunday's. Don't let them fool you, if you have no education with science this will be very hard for you as the program is very fast and offers little help to student's (even though they charge twice as much as a real school that would have tutors). The help they offer is from other fellow student's who are trying to figure out everything as well, so it is a poor situation if you need extra assistance at this school. A few amazing teachers, most though could be easily replaced with better options.
Great place to learn teachers are there to help you in anyway nessecary.
I really wish they offered MA at the Tinley Park location. Very disappointing to me
They don't care about their students.
