Super place! Very well run athletic department
Enjoyed the opening celebration of The C. S. Lewis Center at Sterling College in Sterling Kansas. Looking forward to the enriching cultural experiences they will bring to South Central Kansas and beyond.
My son graduated. It is a good Christian school in small town. Small class son more one on one.
We have one boy going to Sterling College and now possibly another. The coaches, teachers, and leaders in the Sterling community take seriously their jobs of teaching and mentoring young men and women into the next generation of leaders! The football program is much more than just about winning, I really appreciate the care the coaches have for the boys.
Sterling is a beautiful campus, the staff, teachers and coaches are amazing. What is most compforting about our young man attending Sterling is the community steps up and takes care of the students like their own.
Sending my child there was the worst decision I have ever made in my life!! I thought Sterling was a good small "Christian" school, however that is not the case. Majority of their athletes are on and do drugs regularly while the AD looks the other way. Athletes are not drug tested. Freshman are expected to participate in hazing activities such as drink a gallon of booze mixed in a jug and smoke weed. Do NOT send your child here, not even on scholarship!!!! Also, the dorms are disgusting and run down. My kid stayed in McCreary and often times there would be no hot water for showers and would have to take a cold shower!
Attended a volleyball game in the gym. A very nice facility, clean and handicap accessible sd well. Parking lot is well appointed and clean too.
Nice environment for learning. Lovely people, they treat you like family.
Great college, lovely small town. Plenty of great places for coffee and food
Seems quaint. Small town. Geographically removed. Grandson didn't like it, but did like his teachers.
