My experience taking the Medical Administrative Assistant course was a great experience, from classmates to the instructor. I went into this class not knowing what to expect and at times, I thought what am I doing. When you have an instructor that's passionate about what she's teaching, makes you comfortable and confident that you made the right decision you are truly favored. Thank You Ms. Jackson for the positive and encouraging words, also giving us that push when we needed it you are the REAL MVP.

Chanasha Chambers

Hello, my name is Chanasha Chambers. I attended Camelot College in 2024. My experience at Camelot College was amazing from the starting process to the finish point. Pastor Williams and Mr. Simon were there to help me through the entire journey. They encouraged me, and motivated me to keep going no matter how tired I was. There was a time I wanted to drop out, I stopped going to classes, but Pastor Williams stayed on me and pushed me to complete the program. He reminded me that I can do this, and I will succeed. I would also like to thank Mrs. Wheeler at EmployBR for assisting me throughout the process. She took time out to answer any questions I had and helped me to stay on top of my attendance. After finishing Camelot College, I obtained a full-time position with Mary Bird Perkins as an operator/patient access representative. Going to Camelot has made a huge impact on my life, and for that I am forever grateful.

Marquesha Devold

My name is Marquesha Devold, and I am a 24-year-old resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I am a recent graduate of Camelot College from the Online Administrative Medical Assistant Course. While going through the course I was still able to go to work and come home straight into mommy mode to my two kids all while doing schoolwork. I must say some days weren’t easy especially having a newborn, but I stayed dedicated because I wanted to succeed and achieve this goal. I want to give a big shoutout and thank you to my instructor Ms. Jennifer Jackson, definitely one of the best and coolest teachers ever and she was always so understanding and patient. I would also like to give a special thanks to Ms. Vonda Robertson at EmployBR who guided me through the WIOA program and helped me get funded so I could attend Camelot, you are greatly appreciated. And lastly, I would like to give a thanks to Pastor Williams, Mr. Simon and Ms. Ashly as well with helping with resumes and trying to help us find jobs. I am currently employed at Autumn Lake Healthcare Services. With all that being said I’ve learned to never give up on your goals, although some days aren’t easy ALWAYS KEEP PUSHING and as long as you have faith in God anything is possible.

I wanted the ability to do class online and at home while still caring for my kids. Camelot College has allowed me to do so. My instructor, Mrs. Jennifer Jackson, was VERY informative, helpful and the director, Pastor Williams made sure I had everything I needed including a chrome book so that there were no reasons as to why I wasn't able to do my my classwork. Tech support (Mr. Simon) was on standby so if we had any issues there was no delay. I definitely recommend Camelot College to anyone who wants to get training for a degree and fond a great career but just don't have the time to do so.

A true blessing! Camelot College has played a vital role with me getting into my career. Before i started my journey, I had no idea where my life was going until one day I picked up the phone and was informed by Pastor Williams of the Administrative Medical Assistant program and he gave me all the tools and information that I needed in order to receive funding for my education. Mr. Simon & My caseworker worked with me step by step to ensure that my process was smooth which I am very grateful for because not too many schools help you. My instructor Ms. Jackson is truly amazing and goes above and beyond for her students to ensure that we are all successful and that we are understanding the material that we are taught and I thank God for her and my peers everyday! We are 8 weeks in and I've already received many job interviews and offers and I couldn't be more grateful! Camelot College has become my second family and I am very thankful for this opportunity.

I want to thank Pastor Williams, Pastor Williams wife and the entire Camelot College staff for this wonderful opportunity. It means so much to me! Before I started the program I would look online daily to see what programs would have suited me best. I recently had a baby one year ago and I knew I wanted to be the best mom that I could be for my baby girl. I knew that I’d have to get everything together mentally and financially so I kept praying and I didn’t stop looking for schooling. I also wanted it to be long term. Until one day I went into the Acadiana Work Force and Ms. Stacey Veal told me about this amazing opportunity and that I could also get possibly get approved for a grant. So I started the process of paperwork and I was indeed approved for a grant to cover my schooling for the Administrative Medical Assistant course. The program was well organized and my professor was very helpful and supportive. The staff were very consistent in resolving any issues with our technology. I followed the four D’s (You must be Determined, Dedicated and Devoted then you will reach your Career Destination) and that will always stick with me all the time. I showed up to class willing to learn more of what it took to become a Certified Administrative Medical Assistant. I am grateful to announce that I received a job offer at Merakey as an Administrative Assistant. With God all things are possible. Thanks for this huge opportunity!
