For those who are not familiar with William Carey, this is a private Christian School of Nursing. They are based out of Mississippi but have a campus in Baton Rouge. In other schools in the area, the programs take two and a half years. The accelerated nursing program at William Carey can be finished in 18 months for a bachelor's degree, meaning I obtain a higher education level for less time. This is by far the best school I have ever attended. The small classes (30 or so students) make the learning environment one on one. You build relationships with the students and faculty. I know that they are rooting for my success just as much as I am. I am genuinely grateful to attend here.

I’m currently a Level III nursing student at WCU BR campus! I’m honored to be the Level III class delegate for our campus’s SNA chapter and anticipating graduation August of 2021. My time at WCU BR has been nothing if not incredible. My instructors and fellow classmates have made me feel like a member of their families. As a campus, we operate as a family, and the faculty truly want to ensure that you are given the knowledge and skills to go forth and be the best that you can be and make a difference in the care of others within communities. I absolutely love my WCU BR family and can confidently say that attending school here was the best decision I could have made for myself and my family!
