Mott Community College

Speak to your counselor before signing up for classes (they will set you right) and actually study the material. The nursing program is by far the best in the county.

My experience at Mott has been great! I am going to be graduating in the Spring and I couldn't be happier with my decision to go to Mott. On top of the great education I am receiving I will be able to transfer all of my credits to U of M Flint. Mott partners with several universities to allow their students to continue on to their bachelor degree after graduating.

These people do not care if you graduate or not. From The Advisors, to The Faculty they do not care. I had been trying to contact leadership for months, no response. This place is a joke. If you care about your kids education, do not send them here.

The staff is not trained in their position or in common courtesy. They treat you terribly. They have to check their ego!!! DON'T USE AN ADVISER IF YOU PLAN TO TRANSFER!! My adviser had me taking classes that didn't transfer to the College that I planned to attend, so now I plan my own schedule. I feel like some professors use this platform to push their agenda. I had quite a bit of coursework based on inequality with gender and race, which is beneficial in the proper class, however it wasn't relevant to my classes at all. I had 27 credits that didn't transfer to UofM, that my adviser said was required. Keep up with the College Course book that you plan to transfer to because nobody at the school does! Psychology department is amazing especially Professor Ruffin!!

Cheap education. You get what you pay for. Some teachers and staff are great, while others are pushing the woke agenda. Bookstore has a habit of being poorly stocked and/or letting you think you're good but leaving you hanging at the last minute without access to your financial aid. Get your prerequisites and have a generous emergency fund for when they drop the ball on your books and supplies. Move on to a better school.

I gave 3 stars because the people running financial aid office be rude and so it alot of the employees not teachers but there to many people with chip on shoulder talking to people like they not in flint mi and I went to 3 of them weekend enrollment things and never got a campus tour at all so I had figure it out on my own. They need to do better screenings on who they hire because there is way to many ppl working there with an ego trip

As a current student, I feel like Mott doesn't want students to graduate and move on. Everything is a money grab. The financial aid office is inept, and advisors don't advise. It's been a terrible experience as an adult part-time student. I am credits away from graduation, and yet being here is frustrating, and staff is no help. Don't take any classes. Christopher Enge is teaching. He is a rude and nasty individual. His class assignments are unnecessary and full of busy work with assignments no one else does. Please find somewhere else to go. I mean their graduation rate is awful, and they are only here for the money.
