My husband taught there fot 28 years. It is a great school and very handicapped friendly.
Beautiful campus. Very welcoming atmosphere, faculty!
Got stuck in a ditch on the side of the road trying to find this place in 2016…… stupid rude drivers flashing and honking at people upsetting them….. I had nowhere to in 2016 now I don’t even work……
Excellent college - the professors I had did everything in their power, to help me pass each class I took. Oh, and the Learning Center, at the back of the library, was amazing! Some of the tutors took some getting used to, but others I loved right away, and was sad, when they left the main campus, to go tutor on the other, smaller campus. Of course, just like most people, I had my favorites, among the tutors and among the professors I had. (I only took one class at a time) Sadly, though, I had to drop out, due to having my financial aid suspended (for a second time), and not wanting to appeal it (again).
Amazing college for starting right out of High School. They helped me set up my classes and got all of my financial aid figured out really fast. The teachers are very nice and actually care about what they're teaching. I would definitely recommend this school for anyone thinking about going to a community college. Very clean campus too and has pretty nice dorms. I would also hit up the SAC.
Very good beginner college. I loved my time there. Most of the teachers were so thoughtful and understanding. One thing I didn't like was the financial aid office and the counselorsthat scheduled classes. They almost made me take a couple extra classes I didn't need. Be careful when you go to them!
This is an outstanding local community college with a diverse student body with people coming from all over the world. Thousands of interestin and unique stories have been told on that campus, and thousands more have yet to be told. I'm enrolled here and so far I've loved every moment. They offer a wide selection of courses and majors in many subject. A well rounded and friendly staff who are open for consultation makes this my favorite school.
Typical s***** University or college more focused on making money than helping the college kids. My son dropped one Class Which put Him below full time and they immediately kicked him out of the dorm and told him he'd would not get his money back for the dorms after one week of living in the dorms so basically if they kick you out they don't even give you a refund!!!
I just graduated from here, and transferred to WMU after. I loved every minute spent here. The staff was always helpful, my professors would always help me when I asked for help, and the campus is beautiful. I will miss my time here, but I will be much better off for my time here. I previously attended another local college, and had a horrible experience. Transferring here made a huge difference in me, and my education.
Ive been here two years and very happy to say I will be transferring next semester. Don’t even waste your time or money. Professors that laugh at you when you need help, rude staff members. Only a handful of teachers actually care about their jobs. Better off at another community college.
