Berkeley College, Newark Campus is a community made up of people with diverse knowledge and resources. A place no one left behind ... you only have to reach out and you would be assisted. I am very proud to belong here. All that is expected of me "is show up and do the work".

I regret not coming to Berkeley sooner. Everyone has been so amazing to me. It's been years since I've been in a classroom, but coming to Berkeley made me feel right at home.

What I must say is , everyone is involved and helpful . The professors are understanding too . The work load could be much . And sometimes the professors may even admit that they're going kind of fast . To my defense . I need things to be slowed down for me , especially because it's all new . But that's about it . I'm proud to be a student here . I see light at the end of the tunnel . Thanks

Terrible school. You will be overcharged and not get a real college experience. I had to pay $8000+ just to sit in class and do nothing. I did more at home than in the actual classes. This is a pro-profit school people!!! all they care about is the $$$. I felt like a was lied to and they over exaggerated what the could do for me. I was poor with my mother living in welfare and was gullible. I believed every promise and now that I know better I regret every useless second I spent here. A Berkeley College degree is a joke to any future job. It is the hardest thing to find a college that will accept credits from here once you open your eyes and want to go to a real college. STAY AWAY! PS. This school is being sued by NYC Consumer Affairs for fraud and many other things after so many complaints. Look it up. Very shady!

My experience at Berkeley College was superb. Although there was new staff at times, I viewed it as an preparation one needs once you start employment in your field. I would recommend this college to all students that want a degree in Newark. It's affordable and by other big name colleges and a community college, for example, NJIT, RUTGERS, ESSEX COUNTY COLLEGE. Education can be provided to fit ones need and want, one has choices of were to go get the education.

Berkeley's Newark campus is my main campus and I have had a great experience at the college. It is located near other campuses such as Rutgers Newark and NJIT so there is always something going on in the area. The Newark campus is much smaller than the other Berkeley campuses I've been to but it is a positive atmosphere where most of the faculty and staff are very helpful. Most of my professors are easily accessible by email or during their office hours and are glad to help. The only issue I have had was with advisement. I don't feel that they were very helpful when it came to helping me create my schedule and felt that I was on my own for the most part. I learned from my mistakes and have enjoyed the Berkeley College Experience overall.

This campus is horrible. Maybe the other ones are better. But the Newark campus is ridiculous. These people know exactly what there doing. They have no respect especially the operating manager (Earl Brown) they think because they have “higher authority” they should talk to you however. If you want a pleasant real college experience here isn’t the place. I’m stuck with loans for classes i never took. Not to mention you have to PAY to park!

Lack of communication and professionalism. Horrible first experience just trying to see what the college was all about. Everyone i’ve came in contact with really turned me off. Taking personal phone calls in the middle of orientation, leaving me sitting in a room for long periods of time, didn’t really seem too interested in welcoming a future student. It was to the point the man constantly apologized for making me wait so long as he continued to talk to other people. I felt like a non priority at that moment since everything and anyone interrupted the “interview”. I had high hopes, now i’m second guessing, only because of the delivery of the admissions advisors. Feel like I wasted my money on an application.

If I could give this college a worst review I would. The faculty and staff are not helpful at all, there is a lack of communication between departments in this school which makes it more difficult to get things done. The location of this …
