I’ve noticed a lot of negative reviews, and I think it’s important to provide a different perspective from someone who is actually succeeding here. Most of the complaints seem to come from students who are frustrated that they can’t rush through this program or expect nursing school to be easy. Chamberlain’s standards are high, and nursing is not meant to be simple. Credit Transfer & Curriculum Chamberlain accepted almost all my credits from my previous degree. It’s true that most nursing credits (like NR classes) don’t transfer between schools, but that’s normal everywhere because each program has its own curriculum and standards. However, your general education credits do transfer, and Chamberlain makes that process smooth. Also, once you graduate and earn your BSN, transfer credits won’t matter anymore — you can apply to any master’s program nationwide with your RN license. Academic Standards You need at least a 76% to pass here, and you get two attempts per class. If you’re failing despite the resources available, it might not be the right program for you. Nursing school is meant to challenge you, and Chamberlain prepares you for the NCLEX by holding students accountable. Professors & Student Conduct I’ve seen some wild allegations against professors, and honestly, a lot of them stem from students being upset when faculty hold them accountable. I’ve only had two professors I didn’t mesh well with — but that happens everywhere, even in the professional world. Most professors here genuinely care. For example, Professor Murphy is one of the most passionate instructors I’ve had; she created some of the best wrap-up PowerPoints that made learning easier. Calling her “racist” is not only unfair but completely inaccurate. Probation Status Explained Chamberlain was placed on probation not because the program lacks quality, but because they tried to give more students an opportunity by lowering entry requirements — admitting people with lower GPAs and less academic preparation. Unfortunately, some of those students cheated their way through, struggled with the curriculum, and failed the NCLEX, which affected pass rates. The curriculum and degree are still highly respected in the nursing community. Final Thoughts If you’re committed, willing to put in the work, and want a program that challenges you while supporting your success, Chamberlain is an excellent choice. But if you’re looking for an “easy” nursing degree or a school that lets you bypass standards, this may not be for you.

Please do not apply many students have issues financially and due to probation issues they are constantly changing in the middle of courses exams and credits. They are unfair and do not hold up to there integrity. I WOULD GIVE NO STARS but to write review I have to select a star. There are very few professors that care and understand and actually help you understand material. Many students have issues they do not add points correctly so you meet the credits required. Your credits can not be transfered to another college. These credits are only good for a seat to take Exam only. This school is accredited just for a seat for NCLEX exam. Many are stuck and if they decide to leave to go to another college these credits are none transferrable. Also, if you had gone to college and have credits they will not accept the classes and in admission they will say yes but they did not accept any of mine and I found out late when they had me take a course. Example psychology. If you have issues it is difficult to get ahold of somebody. When you do they throw you through loop holes.

They need to change certain things for instance, after an exam, there should be an exam review after an exam to be able to know what you got wrong on an exam and why you got it wrong so you can be able to learn from your mistakes and rationalize. How can you learn if you don't know the why.

I am writing to voice my deep frustrations with several aspects of this program that have become increasingly difficult to manage. As a third-semester BSN student, I am already balancing multiple responsibilities, including being a parent, working full-time, and participating in work-study. The recent introduction of the "Exemplify" exam platform—with zero prior communication or preparation—has only added to my stress. The rigid rules about no noise, maintaining constant eye contact with the screen, and the unrealistic time constraints make it nearly impossible to take these exams in my current situation. Further complicating matters is the overly restrictive schedule this program imposes. I am only allowed to take two classes every 8 weeks, dragging out the degree for far longer than necessary. Why should I be limited in the number of classes I can take when I’m paying for my education? It feels like this structure is designed more for profit than for any genuine concern for the students' needs or educational growth. On top of that, I find it frustrating that I can't register for my own classes or add them as needed. The system is locked to a predetermined plan, forcing me into a schedule that doesn't fit my needs or ambitions. This lack of flexibility is ridiculous and a huge detractor from the learning experience. At this point, I feel strongly that this school is more interested in profits than in providing quality education or supporting its students. I would not recommend this school to anyone pursuing nursing, as the lack of communication, flexibility, and genuine concern for students makes it a truly frustrating and unmanageable experience. Thank you for

Professor will accuse you cheating and dean advisor will fail you. They set you up and then fail you. When they make decision no advisor will call you for support . Cheryl P Washington and butler Kathy, no phone call but email. I’m currently in this program I would not advise anyone to go to chamberlain for any program. Bad school.

This campus is currently on academic probation and cannot admit new students until their NCLEX pass rate comes up. It has been consistently lower than BoN required for quite a while. Faculty turnover high. Be cautious and consider other options before making a decision to commit to enrolling

Seeing these reviews pisses me off! Mist of you complain because The school is not accommodating? The only reason why people don’t succeed at this school is because they expect to be able to get a bachelors nursing from home. You guys are lucky the school even offers any nursing classes online no school will give you a nursing degree online. I damn sure don’t want anyone who a virtual school for nursing taking care of me in the hospital the same with doctors. And I promise if you find an online, that’s 100% virtual you’re gonna get your license revoked because it’s one of those degree Mills just like the ones in florida. This is New Jersey New Jersey has strict curriculum regulations for nursing and high standards go to another state and go to an easy school. Nobody said nursing is you failing this is not for you. This school offers the average regarding academic help Including a low passing point of 76% to pass your class weekly tutoring 30 minute sessions with multiple different instructors so if you don’t like one, you can use a different one and they let you retake a class twice. This material is not for you if you can’t pass or make the sacrifices need to get a bachelor degree in three years Stop expecting everything to be handed to you when peoples lives are in your hands

If I could give this school a zero star review I would. Not only are the professors and faculty terrible, but the overall experience made me hate the nursing profession all together personally. The school only cares about the money and not your actual success. The professors have no care for the students and would rather see you fail than help you. I had a professor who told me to either withdraw from the class or fail and retake it instead of helping me. I've also had three different academic advisors and each time I got a new one I was unaware of it. I also never had contact information for my advisor. This school also does not accommodate those who need it and would rather fail you than help you if you need it. Oh and they like to hold your money hostage even though it is your student loans and they are not the ones who will have to pay them at the end. If you want to go into nursing, GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!! (I am currently going to the North Brunswick Campus and will be withdrawing from the program once the session is over)

I can not provide an actual review for the school as I haven’t attended. But I will say, I was thinking about it. I attended the virtual info session and it was really organized. It made the school seem like an amazing place. After reading the reviews here I think I’ve made my decision. I was already having a hard time deciding due to the 3.5 hour travel time especially because I can’t seem to get a clear response regarding how many classes I can expect to take virtually vs in person for the NJ campus. I’ve attended a similar program for my MA cert that gave me their full attention until I joined the program then my experience was similar to the students reviews. I think I’m going to listen this time and avoid making the same mistake. What a shame though I was really excited about starting nursing school but I guess I’ll continue looking elsewhere.
