I am a graduate student here. It's honestly hard to provide one rating for my whole school experience but so far so good! My professors have been fantastic.
Good school. Vibe is good. Campus is beautiful surrounded by many churches Empathetic professors except for a few. Since it’s a mainly and engineering College, so male to female ratio is pretty high.
Great place for research. Excellent people all around. Quiet and beautiful.
Most of the instructors cover curriculum at the speed of light in the Computer Science program and the administration appears to go along with this. I am glad I had at least one instructor that appeared to care about student learning and understood that it takes time for a student to learn what they have been teaching for years.
5 star because my student graduated in ChemE with minors in Business and Chemistry. Three months after graduation, he was offered a job as Production Engineer at a manufacturing firm. I'm still waiting to get returns on my investments + interests :D
Glad to visit this university when celebrating 150 year’s anniversary
I personally did not like my time here. Its a good school especially for the price if you are really into academics, engineering and all the nerd stuff . If you come here looking to study and get involved in a design team then you will like it here alot. However I personally just didn't click with it much.
Lost all of my baby photos due to poor communication from IT. Be warned the school just wants your money but doesn't truly prioritize students or alumni. They cut our school emails and digital storage off but still think they can call frequently at all hours of the night to beg for money.
It is not for everyone. However it is a great place for a challenge if you are used to being recognized as one of the smartest people in the room, and you are ready to be challenged. When I went here as an undergraduate I was not ready, but I was ready when I went back 15 years later to get a graduate degree. I am an alum, staff member, and faculty member, so I believe in the school and it’s mission.
What an incredible school! Not only for engineering, but for business, psychology, biology, etc. I feel an immense amount of pride in my Alma Mater. What a challenging but rewarding 4 years I had here! Class of '14!
