Not a student here but I had the amazing chance to stop by for a symposium that was hosted here. It was the first NYC RNA symposium so I was personally very excited. Obviously, I enjoyed the symposium itself but that’s not necessarily a holistic reflection of the university itself since it’s organized by the Tri-RNA club which includes other institutions. All I can say is that I loved the view and atmosphere, and would definitely visit again if I had the chance. I don’t think I’d have access, but this is worth breaking the law (for legal reasons this is a joke). My research PI had also spent some time here at Rockefeller at some point in his career, and he’s an awesome mentor, so I guess that can be attributed to the university as well.
Our first time here. Stunning campus and views. Great lunch at the cafeteria.
Interesting complex exclusively for postgraduate scientific students doing all kind of research. 50% of scholars are foreign students. House of laureate and Nobel prizes.
They provide open-to-public seminar series. World class scientists and doctors are nurturing future Nobel laureates, right here!
Cheap price and high quality food with nice view!
Variety of architectural quality and styles, ranging from fantastic to OK. Wonderful artwork. Awsome views to the river, Roosevelt Island and Queensboro Bridge from the roof garden at the center of campus. Green and lush surroundings with sculptures from renowned artist. A quiet gem and a green island in a busy city. Visit on appointment only or during the yearly NYC open day when guides give tours.
Don't see them on SportsCenter too often, but a world class research institution.

Alipasha Vaziri Rockefeller University recorded in august 2021 the activity of one million neurons of a mouse brain at single cell resolution ¿Will be possible to break this record in months years or decades?
I've been a patient at the university since I was 7 years old, I'm now 64 in perfect condition mainly because of the outstanding great care! I was diagnosed with rheumatic fever and only because of there unbelievable Research I was cured. Thank you really doesn't cover the amazing gratitude and respect I have for the whole staff, I owe my life to this university for without these wonderful doctors and technicians I would not be here today.
I went here for a class for nursing and it is a beautiful campus with a great view. The cafeteria was a typical cafeteria. the class rooms look updated. A great place to study. Security was great and I felt safe while I was there
Rude to visitors!!! My family and I came to visit the campus to see the grounds on a Sunday. Security would not let us visit at all. My husband is a scientific professor and we visit university campuses all the time, with no problems. …
I was a partner of a student there when it was the Rockefeller Institute in the late 1980s early 1990s. I have not visited on recent trips to the US mainly probably because I was scared to cross the road although holidayng is also tiring. …
Winning in Noble prize laureates/research personnel in the world, definitely a strong indication. Very old trees on campus make it unique. Masterplan should be reworked, feels like there's no coherency in the planning.
One of the most prestigious biomedical research institutions. Beautiful campus with gardens and trees, exclusive destination.
The absolute best research institution in the world bar none. World class cutting edge science in a hidden oasis in Manhattan.
Gorgeous campus in the heart of the UES. If you're here, they have a couple nice cafes and restaurants with cheaper food.
Rude Rude, and Incompetent... …
Great University. I will go back there soon.
Nice university and beer after four on some days ;-)
