It has been one of the best things for me and my wife. Doesn’t matter who you are. With some many campus around.
My review is specifically in reference to Valerie Limbrunner-Bartlett, my beginner weight lifting teacher. If you get a chance to do a class with her, do it! She is patient, educated and KIND ♡ Also side shout out for my philosophy teacher: Matt Stockton - very informed and a fun class (Being & Knowing).
Getting registered for classes was a mess. Instructors were condesending and pseudo-professional when I reached out for support. I had a way better experience at Portland State University and Clackamas Community College.
They have no advisors. Appointments are booked months out. Stop giving out wasteful things like teddy bears... and hire more staff. 0 support.
Apply for students aide, financial aide, or call and ask how to get enrolled. I'm 30 and I have a few semesters under my belt and I think this school is trying. I have had so.many good teachers. The campus is beautiful. The people are kind. I hope this school only gets better and it's students find success in their own weird ways.
The professors are not good at recording attendance, and I have to file grade appeals after each semester because they're also not good at keeping track of completed work and grades. The professors are usually very nice though, always willing to answer questions and be kind. Its uncommon to have an unkind professor here. They also lower your grades if you're not a lefty and the assignments have politics in them and you express views that lean right... that's Oregon though! I'm glad I'm a lefty. Keep in touch with your professors (especially near the end of the term!!) to make sure they give you all the grades you earned. They will gladly clarify these things with you. Low rating for extreme difficulty with academics. Professors are very kind usually though.
I love this campus, the staff is usually very friendly and helpful. I recently had a negative run in with a bald older gentleman with a goatee working at the library, he was bot only unhelpful but he was also very rude. I had to ask a random student for help because the man working there seemingly couldnt help me or didnt want to. I am not sure who this guy is, but he should not be working in a college campus.
The worst school I have ever been in my life.southeast pcc college. Boring too much jealousy people full there. I rate zero. Zero is even better then rating. The building they put there on there website is fake. They didn't build it with glass. There is bank next there. Thank you God.
PCC has been a fantastic experience! I am taking an advanced watercolor class with Leslie B. and it has totally exceeded my expectations! Great advanced level instruction in an inclusive and supportive environment to say the least! A+ PCC
