Dickinson College is outstanding. One of their best attributes is their professors. They also have wonderful student services and student organizations.
The beautiful campus is built with limestone from the college's quarry. The library is spectacular as well.
Loved visiting this college & it’s community! Particularly enjoyed the historical details of the American Revolutionary War that the town has preserved! Also, there’s a really great ice-cream place nearby that I enjoyed! Not to mention the views of PA!
So blessed to have our children go there it is a fantastic preschool / daycare the staff are fantastic the curriculum is perfect for children in each individual age group
I love the college grounds!! Great down town! Very professional admissions office with very adequate follow-up...! (very adequate means, being from a metropolitan area myself, I didn't expect anything beyond a few lame words of luke warm support from burnt out administrative zombies and was pleasantly surprised by their warmth and follow thru). Still waiting to see the results of the education, my student has only just begun. Seems promising!! --edit: Hi ! It was a long haul, with COVID in there during their education and a semester abroad (in Denmark!), with a workload that sounded rewardingly likely to bring a fruitful career in a field relating to psychology and also sounded enriching in the ancillary, my impressions after graduation are that this was a classy, intellectually and socially positive experience the most challenging of which seems to have been the growing pains all young people experience living within the confines of any old where, learning how to resolve social conflict, negatively charged romantic interests and all the other human type challenges. I'd recommend this school over many others I've heard about, balancing the cosmopolitan and the parochial or bucolic. It wasn't all peaches and cream but the only negative I seem to remember is the smell of whatever the hell it is that the farmers around Carlisle are spreading on their fields which is one of the most disgusting smells I've ever experienced but only seemed to encounter it outside of town and not on or around campus
My personal experience at Dickinson college. There were lots of boys there and when I woke up at my dorm every day there was a weird white substance on my blanket.. odd. anyways, I had a godddddd night though. The education and diversity there was spectacular, and I would love if I could go there again as a young adult.
Beautiful campus, great education and atmosphere. Great memories from college. Proud alumni :)
Grounds are beautiful and it has a great atmosphere. Athletic facilities are pretty good and do open a lot to the public. Professor Marshall is top notch. Great staffing makes an educational facility.
Has a variety of different programs & majors of studies to spark any student's interest. My cousin earned a scholarship to this prestigious private university. Website: https://www.dickinson.edu/homepage/199/academic_programs
