Went to a cross country meet, it was a lovely evening and a lovely course. Nature was at its finest with the surrounding mountains, fields and forrests.
If your son is considering playing baseball for LHU don’t let him. The coach is a real jerk! Definitely has his favorites. No mater how good your son is. He would rather lose the game. It sad when ONLY ONE SENIOR on the team didn’t get to play at all on the field for senior day.
not a bad school at all .. and i love that they have chick fil la on campass ..!

Lock Haven University is a high education quality oriented facility, surrounded by many beautiful neighborhoods & ,of course,an exceptional Staff; of truly intelligent Professionals. If you are looking for excellent educational experience for your children, or grandchildren, give this wonderful location a visit soon! Lock Haven has the Beautiful Bald Eagle Mountains, and is between Williamsport & State College,(tip) famous Penn State. It's always best to visit in person, talking face to face, instead of electronic viewing; which is now extremely common in our culture. Make sure you also take the Levee Trail, and go all the way,by Water Street.Start packing,my friends, & enjoy your upcoming wonderful trip.....
We were at Lock Haven for the odyssey of the mind state finals on April 2, 2022. We went to the school cafeteria. The line to get in was very long. Only one cashier. Once we got in the food was very good. We were told by an employee that the cafeteria did not know the finals were being held that day so they were not prepared for hundreds of extra people.
On an overcast Sunday, during a pandemic, our self-tour often campus was admittedly limited. And yet, we found the campus to beautiful. A small, compact campus, which would be easy for students to navigate, with a riverwalk just across the street from the student union made me nostalgic for my own college years, many miles away and now also many years in the past.
There are some good teachers here, but overall you won't have access to programs to help students. Sometimes even the tutors they give you will be a no show. All the dorms as well as the suites have different problems ranging from fire alarms, distance from campus that will make it a hazard getting to class for freshman, food was just ok, but not too much to do unless within the city itself. Be aware of the financial office, they will give you a headache on payments and receiving transcripts.
Parking sucks and they wont fix stairs that are used consistently by commuter students, making it harder to get to where we need to be
Nice campus in a small town. Lots of stuff nearby. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Excellent experience this far. Will see how it goes when he starts classes (my son goes to school here)
