for personal reasons, I’m not going on my main email account, BUT this high school was so buns I’m not kidding. The academics here are terrible and the teachers here claimed it was a rigorous school BUT no it’s not. The students here aren’t that well disciplined either. And there is LITERALLY 14 freshman here. So if you’re thinking about taking your kids here…. Think again.
Good facility. Most staff standoff. The regular government workers.
I came here to take my Spanish II class back in 2017 and the professor discriminated against me due to my age. I was the oldest in her Spanish II class (I was 29 and everyone else was 18-25) and she said and I quote “because you haven’t taken a Spanish class in two years and given your age I seriously doubt that you’ll even do well in this class.” What kind of professor would say that to ANY student? I was also the ONLY African American student in the class too.
First impression of HCC-Southeast FRAGA is unwelcomeing, no one smiles or greet you immediately. It is too quite and no one is laughing or enjoying their job. I went to an evening meeting and this was my experience. My second visit for another meeting in the morning the same first impression. But, I stayed downstairs a little longer and I heard the front desk greet students as they entered. I never hear the phone ringing or phone conversations. It was gloomy and not alot of variety of food courts in the area. It is disappointing to not hear birds chirping only dogs barking. It is scary at night with dogs out of control and consistently barking furiously. I will not be surprised if someone gets attacked by dogs trying to go to college. If you walk or bus rider my advice have someone drop you off or walk with a partner. It is pitch black no street lights down street. Looks like Nightmare on Elm Street!
Small but well kept and humble facility.
Taking classes to get ready for Nursing School
The people in the financial aid building are no help..

Nice campus tucked away in a neighborhood. Friendly caring faculty and staff.
